So that guy thought about the actual Avengers: Civil War thread. LMAO. :funny: :funny: :funny:

@Markjoedelonge

I'm halfway through it and I actually really like it. But I agree that the editing is atrocious. "The Last Knight" levels of bad. That opening sequence is fantastic though. And I love Vortigern's demon design. This is what Ares should have looked like.

Vortigern's Demon look was Boss. It was grand and menacing AF. I would have loved a similar design for Ares. Jenkins missed a trick there. I like Ares but his look didn't blow me away even tho it had a very good chance to do so. It would have been so 'effin cool to have an improved Ares design much like the Votigern one.

And I think Charlie Hunnam would make a great Green Arrow.I've finished King Arthur and I liked it. Didn't love it as I don't think I have the urge to revisit the movie soon.

I agree about Hunnam. He has the perfect look already and I think he's got the acting chops to pull it off. He can be a very good Green Arrow.

Also, thanks for the King Arthur spoilers when I was JUST about to watch it after being looking forward to it for a while....:cmad:

I shall destroy you...

I was gonna watch it this monday :(

I thought the fast dynamic cuts to the growing up sequence was pretty cool. It fit with the whole stylized aspect of the film. This isn't our grandpa's medieval epic. This is almost DMC level stylized, with magical weapons and hype music.

Sorry about that. I tend to stick to the separate film threads so it went right over my head when the poster mentioned Civil War thread.

No biggies and I didn't mean disrespect with my original post. I thought it was common knowledge around here that the Civil War thread is the DCEU vs MCU circle jerk thread. Anyway, I don't even go there. It's a hard pass from me.

Same.

Gotta finish Black Mirror S3. If you havent seen it, get on it :oldrazz:

Heading to Vegas today for my bachelor party weekend with 9 of my friends.

In case I don't make it back, it's been an honor and a privilege.
Congratulations on getting hitched, hope that your happiness lasts.

Also I'm sorry if I spoiled something from King Arthur. I thought I was just talking in general terms. The scenes I described (it really isn't any kind of spoiler tho) unfold in a really unexpected but Ritchie-like way. I think some of you will love it. It's highly stylized like Legendver 2 mentioned.

As for my experience, I liked it. Didn't really love it as I don't think I wanna re-watch it any time soon. It's kind of a one and done type deal.

Having now read a few of the comments over there, I'm right there with you on avoiding that thread.

I just went over there for the first time ever, and they're saying how the DCEU Batman is stupid, because he has PTSD? Most versions of Batman have PTSD. That's why Bruce became Batman, because he has PTSD over his parent's death.

I dunno, I'm stumped. Is that how most of the posts go over there?

Am I one of the few here that wished that we could have gotten a sequel to Hancock? The film had its issues but I think that it would have been interesting to see on where they would have gone with another entry foe the series l.

I liked it. Thought it was an incredibly fresh premise/concept, but the movie ended its story well enough for me to not really want a sequel.

It would actually pretty neat for a Hawkman/Hawkgirl flick if you really wanted something like that.
