This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]533759[/split]
I rewatched Con Air just to realize it had a better script and directing than 90 percent of today's over-praised CB movies.
Another thing I find impressive about The Truman Show is that it came out well before the public's obsession with reality TV was even a thing. It was before Survivor, Big Brother, The Bachelor, Jersey Shore, the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, Real Housewives, American Idol - all of that. The only "popular" reality show going at that time was The Real World, and being on a basic cable network like MTV, that wasn't nearly as mainstream as reality TV eventually became (Survivor was kinda the mainstream breakthrough for that genre). So along with its other impressive qualities, it really felt ahead of its time.Yep. The Truman Show is a very messed up film. Really good but messed up. Out of all of Carrey's roles, that's the one that actually made me uncomfortable, especially after I saw it again in this day and age of technology. One of the best satirical pieces I've seen.
WOW, I thought for a second that Con Air was getting a remake.
Vaughn says he's had "chats about Superman" in response to what his next project after Kinsgman will be
I AM PLANNING ANOTHER KINGMAN, IVE WRITTEN THE TREATMENT AND SOME OF THE SCENES I DONT KNOW WHAT IM GOING TO DO NEXT BUT I HAVE HAD CHATS ABOUT SUPERMAN, I LOVE SUPERMAN.

So when are they going to recast Superman in the DCEU?

I love the casting so far in the DCEU, even the "controversial" ones.
