I don't get it

EDIT: WOW my first "first post in a thread"! Am I an official SHH member now? :D

Where did the comment by the admin and idiot's comment, laying the truth down on him go? Lel.

Btw, I know this is a long shot, but are there any members here that collect the DC Multiverse line as well? I really wanna buy the DC Multiverse Justice League Walmart Exclusive figures, but where I am, there are obviously no Walmarts here, and evilBay people are scalping the figures.

Just hoping if someone would be able to help me pick up the figures at retail price.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2...

Gave this movie a second shot, this time I kept in mind from the get go James Gunn's intention; this movie is for all purposes a "crazy 80's space opera", it doesn't take itself seriously, and neither should we! From the opening scene they break the 4th wall and that alone should tell you that "ridiculous" is the name of the game (not unlike Deadpool); although I still don't like the use of "bathos" to break the emotional tension in scenes, since I feel it stops the movie from living up to it's potential, I happened to enjoy this movie a lot more the second time :)

I definitely see that because of the very nature of the tone of this franchise (as established in the first outing) I can forgive, enjoy and actually applaud this film for things that - I feel - hurt other MCU movies.

I still don't think it's as good as the first one, but it's much more enjoyable than I originally found.

I really liked Ego, I found him to be the MCU's best villain.

Ego and Kaecilius, two MCU villains with the biggest potential to rival even Nolan's Joker, SW's Vader or Matrix' Smith, both totally wasted.

Anyone else watches BoJack Horseman??

I always loved the show, but LAWD this last season, got so dark, intense and emotional...it got a little too real sometimes, awesome show!

Sounds juicy, what I miss?

Nothing major really. It went something like this :

Me : Its pretty obvious that the movies in the JL universe are going to be connected to each other.

Mod : Right and the Joker movie is in DCEU *sarcasm*

Me : Nah, thats a elseworld film, and literally not what my post was about.

Fine by me :oldrazz:

:hehe: that's pretty good

Not sure what had to be deleted in that conversation. I was expecting something more juicy. Boring story.
