I love DC for making these random crossovers with the other publishers. Hopefully they team up with Dynamite for a Batman/Shadow crossover. :hmr:

Just reading these words gets me aroused. I need for that to happen someday.
If you enjoy old comics as much as I do, you'd definitely want to check these classics from the 70s

BBC are doing a Gunpowder plot/Guy Fawkes show. I mean think outside the box lads.
This early?

?

It won't be made with a month. My guess is this time next year it will debut.

Aahhh, ok.
Thought they wanted to release it now.

Yep, that's the one. Luca Guadagnino is directing. I don't think I've seen any of his movies. Chloe Grace Moretz, Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton have been cast. Chloe's previous two horror remakes were... unnecessary. Just straight copy/paste of the originals.

I'm not familiar with the guy, but I hope it won't be yet another case of copy/paste, despite pretty much expecting such a thing. Being someone who has no trouble watching original films, I am generally not a fan of remakes, still I must admit that this piques my interest, as it has interesting potential. As for Moretz starring in horror remakes, I only know of "Carrie", which I haven't seen, by the way.

Eh, I've got a very strong "been there, done that" feeling whenever I see a trailer for it. It looks nice and has some pretty good actors involved, but is a concept that's been done to death.

Too many concept fall under the "done to death" stigma.
If I count every single one of them I'd probably avoid watching movies entirely.

The older badass coming out of retirement to kick ass, is an old concept. But I felt just about a year ago John Wick and Equalizer where both solid despite not really adding a twist to the old concept.

Two years ago.
Oooohh, and both will have sequels coming out next year.

I aint talkin about a trailer tho. FIrst ep was goddamn solid.

Also, I dont if they messed up but they already shipped me Reborn #1
Mark Millar & Greg Capullo comic. :oldrazz:

Shia LaBeouf and Sverrir Gudanson from the movie Borg/McEnroe:

True, but when it comes to SF, it tends to be terribly jarring. At least to me.

Ah, it's out already? Might give it a try at some point.

I don't mind remakes as long as they put some original spin on it and the new director makes it "his own", in a way. "The Fly" is a good example. "The Wolfman" too. "The Omen" on the other hand... it's almost shot for shot the same. Why even bother ? Unfortunately, "Carrie" falls in that category. The TV version from 2002 is miles better, imo.

Not bad choice but Charlize Theron is my pick. Closer in age to Affeck and a better actress as well.

Eva Green is pretty dope. Her role on Penny Dreadful is one of the most under appreciated performances I've seen in years.

Paula Patton mother****ers, lets Year One this ****

I :lmao: at the above photo the first time I saw it. Quite good in physical appearance, especially Gudanson as Borg, however Borg was way hotter:

Reminded me of the time I used to have unbuttoned shirts and 70s' rocker hair:

Borg was not just one of the best tennis players I ever saw --he was lighting fast, faster than most of today's pro. If he had trained in similar way as today's pro, he would no doubt be no.1 in the world. He's light year better than Djokvic, the current no. 1, marginally better than Nadal and Federer. The only other guy that I would be hesitant about is Rod Laver --difficult to tell with him because he was well below average height for today's pro player but he was lethal at his peak especially with his Popeye forearm.
