Ma Kent is gonna be on House of Cards this season.

I've realized if he ever gets to the big screen, I want Martian Manhunter played by Mahershala Ali.

If only he was available, Cumberbatch could've been a great choice too. I think MM's human alter ego should definitely look and sound like an educated, sophisticated man.

I have no interest in House of Cards without Frank. Yes, I know what Spacey did, but i'm talking about the ''art'' here, no interest in Claire as the lead.

Aside from Marvel's stuff on Netflix and seasons 1-3 of Flash, I couldn't bother to try any new live action show of this decade.

This post got lost in the last thread, so....

ACTUAL FOOTAGE found of BN running issh behind scenes in his old job, being all Makiavelian and stuff...

I never thought of him, and now that I do I find the idea fascinating; not only is he a great actor, but there's something very "alien" about him.

And you never know, he might be available by the time and if MM shows up in the big screen (which I hope, down the line...they can't do him justice on TV), or he could pull off a Brolin and do both.

I'm only three episodes into Manhunter, and its already in the same ballpark as the first season of True Detective.

If you're ever looking for something, Mindhunter is great.

That big boy that plays Ed Kemper did the Lord's work on that show. Fantastic season all around.

The girlfriend actress can't act for crap, but she reminds me of someone that I use to know, so she is good. :sly:

Name all the white dudes who have played Jesus Christ in a move!

Not trying to get political or racial, but that takes some balls to not even care, even if one aint religious. The default avatar for Jesus as a white dude? A funny-sad shrug. Dear Swedish looking Jesus...I have sinned.

Jesus is Danny Trejo and we all know it.

"Annihilation" won't be released in theaters in my country anymore....actually, it will only be in theaters in North America and China....and that really sucks :cmad:

On the other hand, they sold the distribution rights to Netflix, so I shouldn't have to wait long to watch it in good quality, so that's the "plus", I guess...

That's Paramount royaly screwing over Garland... :csad:

He got screwed. Thankfully the producer sided with him and refused to change the ending.

I think that's the way the whole industry is headed though. The advent of streaming is likely going to mean a lot of smaller or weirder movies will end up on those platforms, which has its plus and minuses. Garland admitted he was very disappointed with the Netflix deal, but conceded that at least this way, movies no longer have to live or die based on how much money they make opening weekend. It's an interesting perspective, to be sure.

Dredd is such an underrated little gem of a film.

Breh, the version script I read was even more out there and very difficult for the general audiences. In a way, we will be seeing Garland's version of accessible, which is still a total mind smash.
