His gf gets him in, but won't get into that. lol

I have no doubt that Oceans remake is going to be a hit tho, just too much good ppl involved. GA will show up.
I hope that it's a bright spot in movie history.

Joe Dirt

A timeless classic.

The man ate a burger out of a giant piece of frozen poop. Chris Walken in there too and the bad guy from the Sylvester Stallone classic, Cobra.

I never knew of the existence of That 80s Show before today.
I blame Brittany Daniel

Yeah I think they were smart in stacking the cast for the new Ocean's 11.

Haven't heard from KillerWolf and regwec for some time now...

Death Grips (rap group)

Any gal who is into them is trouble. She will cut one of yo fingers and throw it out a moving car type trouble. Amazing hnnngh moments tho, I assume.

Any of you fellas/ladies seen Krypton yet?
Yeah, it was ok. Writing/acting was iffy, production values good. Not really feeling the time travel element. The glimpse of Brainiac we got is what will keep me coming back for a bit.

Shazam, set for release on April 2019, already has a logo, a synopsis, social media accounts and highly detailed set photos of the hero in full costume.

Aquaman, which opens December 2018, has no logo, no official synopsis, no social media presence and one photo of Jason Momoa in a submarine, wearing skinny-jeans.

Well..there are photos....and there are PHOTOS :)

:csad: The man really loved his character and Rian butchered it.

I wish George never sold

Would’ve been fine never having another new Star Wars movie. Would’ve been better than what we have now.

I just wish they at least had the same writer for every movie in this new trilogy. Or at least one outline of what happens. I for one still like The Force Awakens and you could tell if JJ and Casden were directing/writing ep 8 Luke's story would've been told....at least better than what he got with Rian Johnson.

I still can't believe that is what happened to Luke. I know he will probably be back in a force ghost but still...Why did he think it was so bad if he had just done what the majority of fans wanted. Even down to little things like at the end when Luke uses Ankakin's lightsaber instead of his green one. Fans (myself) would've gone bananas seeing that lightsaber in action again. And his reasoning for picking the blue one was absolute piss poor.
"[Luke] is basically tailoring this projection to have maximum effect on Kylo," Johnson explained. "He knows that Kylo’s Achilles heel is his rage, and so that’s why he kind of makes himself look younger, the way Kylo would’ve last seen him in their confrontation at the temple, and that’s why he decided to bring Kylo’s grandfather’s lightsaber down there -- the lightsaber that Kylo screamed at Rey, ‘that’s mine, that belongs to me.’"

If he REALLY wanted to just get Kylo as angry and hateful as possible why wouldn't Luke use the one that...oh I dunno....WAS GONNA BE USED TO KILL BEN!
BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Fans would've "expected" that. God forbid.

And it's funny, I remember reading his reasoning for fans not liking what he did. It was like, "there are so many fans out there that it's hard to please all of them, even the majority. Yeah well, you pleased barely any man. \

The only way that I will ever watch another Star Wars film again, let alone support the franchise, is if they were to revive Luke and since we all know that won't happen then I guess I'm out of a franchise.

Frankly, it makes me sick to my stomach at times when I realize that it was the combination of Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson that destroyed my love for this franchise (something that wasn't phased even during the darkest moments of the prequels). And for what? So that Kathleen could have her perfect feminist-sponsored character? So that Rian and company could tear away the foundations of the franchise so that he could insert something original and of his own to replace it?

It's not easy to destroy a character (Luke) that has been labeled as one of our pop culture's biggest heroic icons for the last 40 years. What's more is that there's no excitement or anticipation left for Episode 9. Han and Luke are dead, Leia will not come back due to Carrie Fisher's passing, and Rey has already defeated the main villain (Kylo) already back when she was untrained.

Under The Silver Lake

I saw the trailer and got the script.

Script is pretty good, but don't know if that will translate well into the big screen. I have a hunch a few female bloggers/critics will hate this tho. This read like a ''Dude bro Inherent Vice'', if that makes any sense. I dug it, but probably for all the wrong reasons.

You know? I think I never noticed that moment at 4:45, the exact moment when Clark snaps out of it...

[YT]V8NAWrKlsAU[/YT]

Lots of credit to Cavill there who with only 2 or 3 subtle gestures tell us so much; this is the moment where Clark goes from being scared and confused (ignoring the reshoots to make him appear somewhat "evil" :whatever:) to feeling safe again, feeling protected.

Even before he can remember or fully understand what's going on, he recognizes the feeling Lois produces in him (maybe even before he recognizes who Lois is). As someone who feels the same way about someone, I love this aspect. :ilv:

TLJ was fine to me. Too many lazy jokes and the casino planet subplot was dumb but other than that great. Way better than Rogue One and a little better than Another Hope, I mean, The Force Awakens.
