Trent scoring Watchmen is all sorts of awesome
Love seeing my favorite artist get more work!

It's part of what I appreciate about these older movies, they represent a part of history.Today, in catching up with the classics: Chinatown.
I always find it interesting to watch these old movies for the first time and seeing all the tropes and things that now have become cliché, when they were still fresh and original, and also all the things that would definitely not pass today; this is another one of those movies that if it was made - as it is - nowadays would not be received the same way.
It just sucks that I was being constantly distracted by other things and it took me forever to finish it; had I seen it in one go I'm pretty sure I would've enjoy it a lot more by virtue of being fully immersed...oh well...
Might take me a bit to feel the RDj resemblance.I see Pratt...I see Eastwood now that you mention it, but also see some RDJ there...
This makes me think of 80s/90s Peter, when - I feel - they were more willing to portray Peter as the ruggedly handsome type, same kinda vibe I got from the 90s TAS; now it's like they're completely against that and must always portray him as the super mellow, super geeky type, which I'm also not against.

I see how in 90s comic art he wasn't very handsome save for the John Romita jr stuff, and not looking very handsome in the work of the likes of Ron Frenz and Pat Ollifie, most art -especially in cartoons- made him pretty good looking.
I can see that a bit with RDj being that young.Think of a Zodiac/Sherlock RDJ, but younger, and you'll see it...
I meant, and I could be wrong because I was never the biggest Spidey fan, that around that time they wouldn't shy away of showing Peter as more rough, or grown up, as opposed to the gee wiz geeky clean cut type.
She must be visiting Harley Quinn's tattoo parlour.![]()
She's the adopted daughter of the former sidekick of the dead Skyman.I have no idea who Stargirl is but for anyone interested.

Star-Spangled Kid (Character) - Comic VineDon't know him either lol.
I don't get the hype for a Watchmen series.. I mean, Snyder's Watchmen was perfect to me, so what's new in this one ?
Based on what ?It’s a continuation of the story apparently, not a retelling
Care to share your thoughts in this Justice League Sequels thread?
Welp
Based on what ?
I don’t think it’s my place to say too much about it, other than I found Damon’s approach to be really refreshing and exciting and unexpected. I don’t think it’s gonna be what people think it’s going to be. It certainly wasn’t what I imagined it to be. I think it’s extremely fresh. I’m really looking forward to seeing it on the screen.
I’ve been resistant to the comic book prequels and sequels, but what Damon’s doing is not that at all, it’s very far away from that. While it’s very reverential and true to the source material (by which I mean the Watchmen graphic novel that Alan and I did), it’s not retreading the same ground, it’s not a reinterpretation of it. It approaches it in a completely unexpected way.
So a new direction and story set in Watchmen Universe ? Could be interesting. Here's what Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons had to say on the subject.
Moving on from Venom.. I wonder what Feige will think of this movie. Then, there's Leto's movie coming out next set in same universe.Sighhhhhh well there goes that. Moving on then
