Ultimate Spider-Man is even better than I remember it to be. I played other Activision Spidey games that I find more fun than this one, but it is easily the best Spider-Man game under their banner.

I liked it too, although I hadn't read the comics and was very surprised by Green Goblin being a fiery hulk.

I loved it, and now I think Amazing Spider-Man games needed a good dose of what made this game work and implement it there, along with taking the good inspirations they took from Batman Arkham Asylum & City.

certainly a fascinating choice by the one they call........... Bendis.

At least it's an alternate dimension, and he didn't ruin the main books with his complete dislike of secret identities and Green Etrigan ideas.

Kidman looking great as Queen Atlanna. BTW, this is the same quindent Arthur had in JL as she gave it to Arthur. So there's some continuity from JL to Aquaman.

i only have 3 episodes left of daredevil season 3 to watch.

so far, i'm loving it.

the dynamic between fisk and bullseye is sort of like anakin and palpatine in revenge of the sith - but done better here.

they made bullseye a sympathetic character - even tho he's a psychopathic killer.

everyone is fleshed out really well.

DD S1-S3 might end up being the GOAT superhero trilogy for me.

Thats what I really dig about Titans. I like that we're sort of plopped into this lived in world where characters have tons of history and baggage already. Thats what I liked about Zack's DCEU at first too, i love being dropped into a world where s*** has already gone down and characters are established and we gradually find out whats happened to them to shap who they are. It makes the world feel rich.

they made bullseye a sympathetic character - even tho he's a psychopathic killer.

Yeah I really loved that they provided that psychiatric background. It shows that he's not "just crazy." He has a diagnosed condition he lives with. And we see that he desperately wants help and lost the person most capable of providing. So you have this character who can't help how they were born, but that wants to be better, who is ultimately manipulated by the one living person he finally believed truly wanted to help him.

It was sad as ****.

Thats what I really dig about Titans. I like that we're sort of plopped into this lived in world where characters have tons of history and baggage already. Origin stories are overrated frankly. There's this annoying trend for like the last gahdamn two decades that every CBM character needs one. At least if they're not an A-lister and even sometimes then we still get them (Batman, Spider-Man). Can you imagine if we applied this logic to every story? Like picture Pulp Fiction, but instead of Pulp Fiction we have to see Butch first starting out as a boxer followed by two sequels showing his rise and fall. We get two other movies for Jules and the Vega Brothers showing how they turned to a life of crime.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that those would make for bad stories. But the mystique is kinda what makes Pulp Fiction so appealing, at least for me. We just get thrown right into the mix and can infer and connect the dots on our own.

Batman '89 just dropped us in Batman's world without introducing him. Granted it was early in his career but when the movie started, he was already a guy in a Batsuit kicking butt. Why? Who cares, he just is. Thats why we're here and bought the ticket in the first place. I'd like more cbms to take that approach.
