Yep, I've been saying for a while I think Netflix is in danger. They started something game-changing...but it's taken on a life of its own, beyond their control, and it's gradually being taken away from them. This is the beginning of the end, folks. While none of these services pose a direct threat to Netflix, the more of these streaming services that pop up the more licenses Netflix will slowly but surely lose until there'll barely have any good movies to watch. Heck, even right now, I feel like Netflix's bread and butter is really television series both original and licensed. Their movie selection really only caters to film nerds like us who like indies, foreign films and 80's/90's classics.
I still HATE the idea of individual networks starting their own streaming services, because I don't think any one network has enough worthwhile content to pay for, especially the broadcast networks (glares in the direction of CBS All Access)...but the big studios like WB and Disney? It just makes sense for them. WB wasn't thinking big enough when they started this DC service, imo.
