The possibility of a new Superman game is too hnnngh to handle, but it HAS to be an open world game, fam. Kinda like what we got with RDR2. Imagine being able to take off and just fly anywhere on an open world game? That kind of game would take years and years to make tho, so they probably going to keep it to metropolis city, kinda like what the Batman games do, still cool, but a bit disappointing.

I mean, we've been hearing about it for years literally, so it doesn't seem out of the question. But yeah, restricting Superman to one city doesn't really work as well as it does for Bats. He's a character who has the power to hop to another city in seconds, so I'd love to see it be open WORLD for real. Even if only certain major cities/regions are available, that would be better than just Metropolis.

Baby steps. Metropolis alone is a massive city, and needs life breathing to it on its own before we move Supes to other regions. And Rocksteady need to learn to make their city more lively and not empty from regular people for one long night of an event.

True, I suppose a Metropolis as lively as Insomniac Spider-Man's NYC would be a huge step forward for Rocksteady as is. At the very least though, I think they could have events/challenges that take you out of Metropolis for a blip, just as a reminder he's a global superhero. You know, like "Earthquake on the other side of the globe, save the civiliians!" or something.

Not gonna lie, this is probably my most anticipated film for next year at the moment.

I gotta keep my expectations for the actual showdown between Dunn and The Beast in check, namely because stylistic/flashy fight sequences have never been a thing for these films and there is only so much you can do with a reported 20 million dollar budget.
