I finished a predator area without being seen in Arkham origins, and I still can't unlock the sonic batarang this runthrough.
YOU ARE TEARING ME APART AO.

What's up with these ''Trophy Points'' anyway. Is nobody allowed more than 113? Lol.

So after watching the Happening, I decided to watch a, you know, actual REAL movie to stimulate my brain.

Searching. This movie was EXCELLENT. Incredibly well directed, acted and scripted. As an aspiring writer, this is the kind of movie that makes me angry that I didn't think of this first haha. I don't have kids but this movie really did an impeccable job of capturing that fear that no parent should ever experience. This movie was tense AF and incredibly gripping and compelling and it was so creative the way it was all essentially told from an iMac computer. My only ding is I feel the film's ending....pulled its punch a little. I'm not mad at the ending we got and I can see why they elected to go that route but....lets just say they could've gone another route that might've been a lot heavier and bolder. But all in all, as a fan of crime/suspense/mystery films, I'm hard to impress or surprise and this one's twists genuinely surprised me and captivated me. Highly recommend.

9.5/10

I saw the pitch the team behind it made before they got any of the cast or backers involved, and it was really quite impressive what they were able to do with so little resources.

That film had so much heart! I liked the ending I think anything else would be jarring and too dark

Maaaaan, I would love and animated old school Superman/JL/DC film with these designs...
That Superman design/animation style for a golden age like adventure would be schweeeet!! :hmr:

I would love a live action film with golden age versions of characters

They can do that stuff under the elseworlds label, it would be all kinds of awesome

Also, at the in-laws already to begin the Jule viking-like feasts :D
Happy holidays everyone!!
I’m on my way to start Xmas dinner number 1. :funny: Hope everyone has a great time over the hols!!

That would be dope. I dig these designs, but damn that's one hell of a Super-bulge lmao

Great Vivid Special Effects in an empty Sea Shell
I honestly believe both Aquaman and Bumblebee would have benefited better from a director swap between James Wan and Travis Knight.

James Wan is far more familiar with car action scenes/stuns than Travis which could have done a kick ass job by giving Bumblebee the edge that it desperately needed.

And Travis would have been perfect to give Aquaman the soul that empty "sea shell" lacked throughout the entire 2 hours plus.

Damn "empty shell" thats some harsh **** and I strongly disagree but to each his own.

I feel like there is a litmus test for your enjoyment of Aquaman which is essentially the opening sequence where Arthur crashes into the submarine, shirtless and wet and he whips his hair back and smirks at the audience asking "permission to come aboard?" with a badass guitar riff. If that scene makes you smile or cheer then you're going to have a great time with this movie. If that scene makes you roll your eyes or groan, then you might as well exit the movie at that point as it isn't going to be for you. That scene is Wan and Mamoa telling people exactly what kind of movie they're getting.

Damn, this movie's gonna have a full, year and a half for post-production. We better get some mind blowing special effects in this lol

Speaking of vfx, right now, the MCU has a clear advantage on the DCEU with de-aging tech. Between the Ant-Man movies and Civil War (Tony scene), their de-aging fx is pretty on point. In Aquaman, it was a bit distracting. Nothing major, just something I noticed.
