Given your sensibilities, I think you might better take to Birds of Prey and the long-awaited Batman film. Now, I don't know if Reeves is looking to outdo Kubrick in the meticulous department or what, but I will say this. In these days of overzealous bloggers, entitled fanboys and the like taking every newsworthy sound bite out of context, emphatic seclusion may be the best approach to steering clear of all that. lol I mean, we all remember what it was like for Ben when he was still attached as director, the guy couldn't step out of his house w/o having to field questions from some random journalist. So, again, I can't blame Reeves for wanting no part of that, and thus choosing to step out of the spotlight until he's good and ready. Plus, if it makes for a more refined overall product in the long run, all the better.

In the interim, maybe give Aquaman a try. What's the worst that can happen? You either like it or you don't. Be sure to check out Titans whenever you can as well.

Caught a bit of Ready Player One the other day and I still enjoyed it very much. Bald Spielberg and Superman just seems to make sense, but it just never happened for what ever reason. I find it kinda odd. Prime Spielberg in the 90s doing a Superman flick would've been pretty cool.

It would have made sense that he helmed Transformers as well, but hey ho... ho ho.

Agreed. I really like the guy, which makes me feel a little conflicted, because as a resident Dane I've been conditioned since entry to hate Swedes.

Honestly, it's better that you watch the previous episodes first. Otherwise, you'll be confused AF.

Legends of Tomorrow is such, such a silly show, as frustrating as it is endearing...

Particularly whenever you remember the characters' backstories, where they come from, what they've been through...I mean, so god damned silly!!!

And yet, they continuously make me smile; the writing is terrible, the character's decisions beyond stupid, they constantly and repeatedly forget that they do have superpowers and the performances go from "a little hammy" to "HAM OVER 9000!!!"...and yet, they make me smile.

I don't think the show is "good" by any possible metric...and yet, they make me smile, and that assured, easy going, non-challenging entertainment is what keeps me coming back, and that should tell you everything about how the entertainment-consumer relationship works; it doesn't need to be good or well thought out, it just needs to make you smile.

But for Beebo's sake, give my man Ray Palmer one, just one badass moment??! Ok, I get it, he's the wholesome big hearted swell guy which, to be perfectly honest, is kinda refreshing in an age of gritty conflicted antiheroes or tragic heroes....but come on!! Guy's supposed to be a genius and has one of the most - allegedly - badass weapons in the Arrowverse, can he stop being THE goofball for a second and have just one badass moment??!

Now *sigh*....onto the next episode....

You should watch it because:

A.) it’s a great show to begin with
B.) there’s a lot of context you are missing with only seeing that trailer and nothing else
