Just finished volume one of For Tomorrow...

This is the good stuff, stories like this are what show what an interesting and conflicted character Superman really is, by the sheer nature of who the character is...loving it!

The only kind of assessment you need for any kind of fictional story.

For Tomorrow is a great story and very underrated.

"HEEEEYYY. I'M ON YOUR SIDE" is good.

The rest of the trailer makes me believe this will be something like the last two TMNT movies.

my first train of thought was that it was going for some GOTG, Deadpool, Thor Ragnarok type stuff
which even for how silly GDT's Hellboy was feels completely out of place here

Yeap, that's what I felt too. I'm not a big Hellboy fan or anything, so maybe I'll catch it at the cinema, but I'll end up watching it anyways more than likely.

Speaking of silly, just saw the last LoT episode....that was insanity, just pure insanity. I laughed my ass off almost the whole episode.

Bergman

There are certain legendary directors one can't help but try and watch/rush everything they ever done. I find myself doing the opposite with Bergman. Ebert use to say his films change your point of view and meaning with each passing year of once life, it gave you a different perspective. He was absolutely right. My Bergman collection takes shelves of space and they remain unopened, I don't want to rush through. Watching a new Bergman film for the first time, what a trip. I of course have seen his most well known films, but can't put into words how happy it makes me to watch one of his films for the first time. Film snob in me has them unopened flicks like fine wines.
