I just wish they would release the Snyder Cut although I understand the reasons behind why they won't. However I think the main reason why we'll never see that movie is not because of money but because of ego. Because if you had a movie that your entire cast and crew felt so strongly for and believed in and you change most of it and got poor reviews. Imagine how the studio would look if the Snyder cut turned out to be the better movie. I mean even the production crews of Wonder Woman and Aquaman were upset over what they did. That's why I say more than likely we won't see that movie not because of money but because of ego.

I never understood why they didnt just drop Zack’s shot scenes as deleted/alternate scenes in the blu ray and call it a day but whatever.

Anyway, did you see the JL Black Suit edition trailer that making its rounds? Now thats looking to a quality fan edit. Kudos to anyone with that much free time on their hands.

Because look at how people reacted when they just showed the two scenes of Superman's return that was deleted. Just think about how people would act if the three hour movie we were supposed to get was just as good. The WB can't afford to admit their mistake on this one. Wan almost walked from Aquaman seeing what they did to JL. That's why I firmly believe we won't see the movie anytime soon not because of money because they will make their money back releasing it. I just think they can't afford to admit their mistake.

Did everyone see the screenshot of the Snyder cut?

But they didnt know thats how people were gonna react when the blu ray came out. They could’ve just not dropped any deleted scenes at all.

Lol, just discovered CBS will be premiering a show tonight that appears to be Uncharted in all but name. The reviews are as middling as you’d expect, but why do I suspect this will still be more Uncharted than the actual Uncharted film Sony is trying to make?

Gahdammit, that DC streaming service just might have to happen for me now.

There was that one show in the 90s that was very transparently made to cash in on the popularity of the Tomb Raider games, so I guess there's precedent!

Just saw someone go on rant on twitter abut how horrible it is that Rocket slapping Thor was played for laughs and 'man up' etc. Jesus Christ, I'm all for being sensitive and empathetic but young people these days have issues with such tiny stuff. It's a scene of a fictional talking raccoon acting consistently like he always does. And these people are legit mad about it not 'lol' mad about it

I have to wonder how do people like that function in real life? Do they burst into tears daily?

I saw something similar when the movie came out, I think it was in a review though, something about how someone wouldn't just snap out of PTSD that easily and therefore it does an injustice to what PTSD is and how people suffer from it.

First, Thor was not suffering from PTSD. He was suffering from depression due to grief, regret, and self loathing, but not PTSD. Second, since they played his character up for laughs from the moment we see him in his shack (with heart thanks to Hemsworth's portrayal), it fits with the scene. As a therapist, I do pay attention to how mental health is played in the media, but I also don't take myself too seriously and I don't expect everything to be played at face value.

I adore the Uncharted series, especially UC2 (one of my favorite games of all time), but I don't see how the movie would work. So much of the charm was Nolan North's voice acting. It's not just a treasure hunting adventure. It's a specific combination of playing an interactive movie and great voice acting and strong, fun writing. I don't see how that translates to the big screen, I just don't.

I do believe it could work as a movie, but you have to find a cast with the right chemistry. Which is a massive task, to be sure, but not impossible. In my head the Uncharted franchise would be Indiana Jones-meets-Mission:Impossible (with the ensemble element and crazy stunt-driven set pieces), and could be a lot of fun. But I’m pretty sure we’ll never see that version.
