Well, I suppose I'll start with the Gerard & Derington one, since I already have it, but cool that i can just binge the show and catch on the comics later.

This is a movie that may or may not happen. That's what I make of it.

I'm surprised that a beautiful movie like Smallfoot got snubbed (nomination for best animated movie) at the Oscars in favor of this mediocre WDAS offering.

The rumor a few months back (or was it last year now?) was that Nightwing and Batgirl were in limbo (as well as why they ultimately went with the BOP draft that didn't include Batgirl despite there being ones where she was a major character) because Ben's departure and the decision to let Reeves take over the Batman movie made it unclear what ramifications that'd have for potential spin-offs. It's possible that now with more movement made on Batman (as opposed to that period where we were hearing nothing for months at a time) that WB knows enough to potentially begin expanding that corner of the universe once again.

Reeves seems very Nolanish in the regard to just keeping Batman to himself. By that I mean, he doesn't seem like the type who will embrace the batfamily, which is a real shame if so. That is still till this day my biggest issue with the Nolan flicks, he never embraced this character also having Clayface, mistah freeze and so forth as part of his rogues, he only seemed interested in villains that he could ground down in a way and find some kind of real world logic to them. Eh.
 
I wanna have hope that dick eventually gets his movie, but I think WB will want a few more big wins before they’re comfortable moving forward with it.

Ya I'm pretty sure it's the KCWalsh/DanRPK/ChrisMarc circle the tweet that was the most interesting was - "someone's holding the other projects up"

So if Reeves finally planned out his trilogy and script then Batgirl and Nightwing should be ready to go again, Hodgeson's writing the Batgirl script and she seems to be the priority along with Supergirl, so hopefully we might get something this year in regards to their progress.

Nightwing is still on Titans so I guess it'll be a few years away, but I don't know if Titans is designed to play out for 4-5 seasons, if they keep on cutting their last episodes off then they might last that long I guess =P
