i could and can do that with any movie, dissect them to bits.

It's not a good movie, it has too many significant problems to hold it back from that.

I'll give this thing credit for being the best in action and cinematography out of all the five DCEU movies I've watched.
I disagree as far as action and cinematography goes MOS and BVS have it beat by a long shot. Wonder Woman as I have always said just came at the right time when you had the whole MeToo and women's movement starting in Hollywood.

To be fair, it's an easy 'latch-on' point just to say that was why it was successful, it had way more going 'for it' than just that 'message'...

Agreed. I'm just saying that played a part in things just like the success for Marvel's movies plays heavily on the belief that if you don't see this solo movie you won't get what's happening in the avengers movies.

Movie had crazy legs at the time, lots of repeat business. The political climate may or may not have contributed, but something clearly struck a chord with people to have so many coming back again and again.

man...they're dropping Sonic in every bad movie
hope the february release works out for 'em

Watched the Spy Kids movies yesterday. My thoughts:

Spy Kids 1 - Liked it. Decent first entry. I won't be watching it again tho.

Spy Kids 2 - I thought this one was the best of the trilogy. It was a lot of fun. Will be watching this one again.

Spy Kids 3 - Not good. Stallone is terribad as the villain. The lack of Carmen is infuriating. The Cortez family is criminally overlooked. Garry and Gerty is underused. It's like Rob Rod took the best parts of the first two and decided to throw it all away. It was a disappointing end to the franchise.
Lemme know how you feel about that last one
and the cartoon:ninja:

Anyone else watch She’s Gotta Have It on Netflix? Im in love with that show, it has absolutely no plot but its just pure unfiltered, unadulterated classic Spike lee.

I like it a lot. It's really well cast as well.

The guy writing that Booster Gold movie straight up called WB out on their "strategy" regarding DC lmao

What did he say?

"I do not know what’s going on with it right now, honestly. And I don’t know if the DC people know what’s going on with it. Their strategy seems to change depending on how […] most recent movie did. But I can tell you that a script has been turned in that the director and producer, Greg Berlanti, has proclaimed himself to be very happy with. And it’s something that’s ready to go, but DC and Warner Bros. would need to give the greenlight to it. The ball is in their court."

If you look at it that way then i could and can do that with any movie, dissect them to bits.
I've been dissecting every movie and TV entertainment piece to bits since 2016, and good stuff and great stuff stand out and survive the dissection.
This one just doesn't qualify.
I've dissected Alien 3, the first infamous entry in that franchise, and it is notably flawed but good. Things really go down for the franchise after the end credits for that movie roll.

They're good in action and cinematography, but Wonder Woman looks better. Action is framed better, and no shaky camera experienced.

You know it's bad when one of their own writers calls their incompetent asses out. Not that it's anything we didn't know already.

Jon Voight's increasing craziness sure is something.

I'm finally watching Aquaman, and this is something else.

Interesting visuals and hilarious storytelling.

Reminds me that I don't think we ever heard more about the Blue Beetle movie Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer was supposedly working on.

I dont know if its just us fans being impatient or spoiled but it is becoming a little ridiculous with WB’s handling of DC at this point. It is just constant silence and smoke and mirrors and playing games. I can understand and appreciate that DC isnt exactly in the same situation that Marvel is in where Feige can openly and comfortably talk about future plans but I think showing a little bit of confidence and bravado can go a long way instead of this constant leaking info to second hand sources like Variety and Hollywood reporter or WSJ to see how people react to it.

I mean, they're in a bit of a rock and a hard place right now. People blast them for not being transparent and I see a lot of calls for some sort of official slate, but then you remember they did the official slate thing before, and well...

Boy, I sure did love seeing the Flash last year! Can't wait for Justice League: Part 2 in a few months, that's gonna be epic. And all those set photos and cast interviews for Green Lantern Corps and Cyborg have been really encouraging. It's hard to believe they're gonna be out next year!

An outlaw queen gave birth to her first born son on the surface, and then she gave birth to a king while she's outlawed.

I think I'm a bit dazed and confused, how does that work?

This movie is pretty silly, and I'm glad it's not considered to have high quality storytelling,,,, because this allows me to have more fun making fun of its weaknesses.

We can agree that it's better than Justice League.
