From Wikipedia:

Reeve suffered from asthma and allergies since childhood. At age 16, he began to suffer from alopecia areata, a condition that causes patches of hair to fall out from an otherwise healthy head of hair. Generally, he was able to comb it over and often the problem disappeared for long periods. Regarding this condition of Reeve's and his appearances in the Superman films, "[he] dyed his hair black to emulate the look of the Man of Steel for Superman: The Movie and Superman II. However, rather than going that route in Superman IIIand Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, [he] wore a wig".

I see all those think pieces about how much Dark Phoenix sux as the end of the saga and while I agree because that's an abysmal movie I'm gonna go ahead and assume people erased Revolutions from mind :lmao:

Oh God, I struggled thru that so bad. The Matrix - 10, Reloaded - 7 and Revolutions - 3, and I'm being generous here. That rain fight is cool but then it goes and ON AND ON

I get your points, really do; I guess I'm just over it, the whole getting upset over things I have no control of... new shows and movies pop up all the time and I just try to consume what seems appealing to me.

It just seems like such a massive waste of energy to get upset over these things, honestly... but of course I won't be the idiot telling people in a message board not to discuss things and vent out... :O

Speaking of...Warrior!!! Guys, if you haven't seen that show, check it out, just finished the first season and couldn't love the show more, I'm pretty sure Feige is looking at Andrew Koji for their Shang-Chi movie.
I hear ya man, I’m over the negativity for real but sometimes WB makes it hard to not be down on stuff.

As long as Doom Patrol and Titans are safe no matter what, I’m still all good.

Just watched Superman IV: The Quest for Peace in full for the first time. Honestly, the thing that bugged me most was Chris Reeve's hair piece. WHY was he wearing one? It wasn't like with Sean Connery - he still had hair. Was he just sick of dying it black? It was very poorly attached to his head and hella distracting.

When you say 'in full', do you mean the 90 minute cobbled together with prit-stick version or the version with all the cut shenanigans put back in ?

Reeve was also noticeably thinner in Superman IV. He was biggest in III. I watched a Johnny Carson rerun where Reeve promoted Street Smart but also talked up the Quest for Peace.

wow those Dark Phoenix numbers are brutal. shame it had to go out like that.

Real talk, though, I was sitting there thinking, "this isn't as bad as I expected" for a good portion of it up until Nuclear Man showed up - and then I was torn between finding it ridiculous that the main villain didn't show up until an hour into a 90-minute film, or wishing that he'd never shown up at all.

The actual reason for this is that was Nuclear Man 2. There was another Nuclear Man that was cut from the finished film, but his scenes were all filmed and you can watch most of the scenes that included this Nuclear Man on YT from various fan edits of the sequence or I think it is included on the special features for the movie on one of the DVDs/Blu Ray I think. The fight is pretty awful. Like, worse than the rest of the movie, so it is easy to see why he was cut. But since Nuclear Man 1 was cut, there is a huge void in the movie and it feels like a long time until we finally see Nuclear Man in the existing cut.

Yeap, really looking forward to season 2 of those shows, and still looking forward to Swamp Thing (it'll probably come out in my area when the whole season is over); I also remember reading somewhere, maybe here, that there are rumblings of either the CW of HBO picking it up?? Surely hope it's HBO, since they're slooooowly getting into the superhero game with Watchmen, who knows??

Either way, I hope the season has a conclusive ending and not a cliffhanger, that'd be annoying.

Now, onto season 2 of Happy! which I've been eagerly anticipating... :hmr:

Tom Cruise jumps out of buildings and planes for fun

what could justin bieber possibly do to him, sing despacito and hope its awfulness melts Tom's brain?

sorry bud, can't bruise the cruise.

JB gonna smash Cruise like he always has with his hoes!

The 90-minute one. I didn’t even know there was another one.

Well that explains it!

There is not an official alternate cut of the movie, but there are fan edits that put in all the deleted material surrounding Nuclear Man 1. But, WB has never gone back to re-add those scenes into the movie. I also would not bank on it ever happening :o

This is now my Snyder Cut! :oldrazz:

Freaking Warnermedia and AT&T, wanting fans to pay for more procedural CW type shows. ****

Can't believe they kill Wan's baby like this

Doom Patrol allegedly could be next

Disney’s upcoming streaming service is said to have spooked WarnerMedia as well.

I mean, no ****. Again, I'm more surprised that they didn't just hold off on DC Universe in favor of putting this stuff on the DC app in the first place. There's a reason that even with Marvel, a far more popular brand right now, Disney still put out a general service mixing it with a bunch of their other IPs.

And it's not like they didn't know Disney+ was coming. Even before it had a name, we've been hearing about it for ages. It's almost like Warner is going, "oh wait, y'all were serious about that?! **** let's call a 'time out'!"

I’m throwing down with someone if they cancel doom patrol
I’ll be canceling my DCU subscription and if that rumor about producing all shows on CW is true, I think I’ll be done with DC and WB for good. They won’t be getting anymore of my business.
