Oh God, Batwoman is just looking worse and worse and worse. I think the show’s gonna get torched when it comes out and will be cancelled quick.

Realistically, I think we all know that won't be the case, Batwoman fits the type of demographic its network is aimed at. As cringy as it looks, it would still be profitable enough for a network like CW. Same reason Supergirl is still around even though it barely manages to hit a million viewers every week.

I think Joker will get good reviews as long as people know not to expect a movie like Avengers or Wonder Woman, etc. I think that's part of what hurt BvS is that you go in expecting one tone and it's completely different. Same thing with MOS to a lesser degree. But Joker if people know not to expect to see Batman and so forth and understand that this is going to be a really dark movie (meaning something you can't take the kids to) I think it will do just fine.

I mean, it's directed by the guy who did The Hangover, so it's not surprising that it might not be as amazing as we were hoping, unfortunately.

The budget's low, thankfully. So it'll probably do well on that front.

I don’t think that’s quite true. If TDK came out now for the first time I think it would be received well. Deadpool, Logan, Days of Future Past were all received well too. I’m sure those wouldn’t all be ticking too many boxes on any MCU checklist a reviewer might have.
