Baby Driver was excellent. Great cast and great soundtrack. I was expecting it to be good but it was really good.

Baby Driver is a great flick when Donald Glover plays the lead instead of Elgort.

Baby Driver is Edgar Wright's first misfire. It took an intriguing idea and did nothing all that memorable with it. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim are far better movies with better execution of the central concept.

Also, don't even get me started on Lily James. She was dreadful in the movie. I hate her blank stares.

I would normally be in the demo for this type of flick, but not feeling it. I hope it does well to get more women directors out there etc, but I will redbox this.

Green Book faced insurmountable odds during the lead up-to the academy awards. I loved the movie a lot but it's shocking how it bypassed all that controversy so easily. It was absolutely legendary.

You simply can't make this up. I don't think any movie in the best picture line-up in the past had this kind of odds stacked against it. Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong and yet Green Book remained insulated from the criticisms. Bohemian Rhapsody also had to fight against a lot of push-back from critics and their think pieces and it came out totally unscathed judging by the record breaking BO receipts and awards success.

Joker is probably going to be a very divisive movie but a tour de force performance from Joaquer can definitely get him a nomination even with controversies regarding the movie's artistic choices/liberties.

But if Norton (Motherless Brooklynn) & Affleck (Long Time Coming) comes up with something special, then Joaquer won't be WB's no 1 priority during the awards season.

I think Green Book and Bohemian Rhapsody serve as excellent examples how far off a lot of people are in their understandings of race and sexuality. Perhaps Joker can complete the trifecta by completely mangling the issue of mental health before going onto Oscar gold.

It was just impossible to resist Mortensen saying 'Ayyyyy, why ya breaking ma balls'' in broken Italian American english. So good.

I thought Mortensen was absolutely fantastic in Green Book. I was very surprised to not see him among the front-runners for best actor.

Bohemian Rhapsody on the other hand is trash. It's bad. Very bad. Very, very bad.

Rami Malek is embarrassingly bad. What was he even doing with all the dentures. It looked so awkward.

If y'all gonna watch a good movie based on a musician then I would recommend Popstar Never Stop Never Stopping. It's clever, funny and much better written.
