whole school districts are shutting down for 3 weeks in my state.
i'm still trying to negotiate with my management + HR on my options: work from home, paid leave, etc
since either my wife and i need to take turns looking after our kid at home.

but supposedly cdc is considering quarantining california soon.

one of my friends is a doctor and said everyone should be masking up at this point.
but people are looking at me funny when i go out with my mask.
except when i go to the asian supermarket, people are wearing masks there cuz they know whats up.

i look like bane. lol.

I wonder if they can work out some kinda paternity leave.....is the govt funding anything there?

Is cdc doing what Italy's doing with the quarantine? I heard they have military people bringing food supplies etc, it's not gonna be like Wuhan but it sounds awful...you're being "QUARANTINED"

my doctor friend is already wearing a mask in the clinic, he's the only one lol, he's got 4 kids at home and a newborn tho, we don't have any cases in our town *touchwood*

Yea I live in Northern Virginia but work there and on Base they sent out notices telling us to be prepared for a quarantine.

So, after reading many twitter comments, I see people are already on board with Superman Reboot, they want next Superman movie to have tone of Donner movies / Raimi Spider-Man movies with Superman actor having charm like Chris Pratt, writing that allows earnestness like Captain America and screen presence like Chris Evans. Lois Lane with personality like Hayley Atwell.

And lastly, Lex Luthor like Daredevil series Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio)

Alas, the UK is taking quite a lackadaisical approach compared with most countries.

The company sent out an email saying it's entered a "medium impact phase" which basically means staying open but with less meetings.
