Lounge of Justice - Part 90

A 1979 Monte Carlo has more real curves than all them Kardashian sisters put together.

Also, Elizabeth Hurley on insta. That's it.

I think the IM2-IM3-AoU-CA:CW era RDJ phoned it in big time. Mostly because the character stayed stagnant and RDJ didn't have a lot to do except for being a non-stop quip machine most of the time. If he took one step forward and then it was nullified by a backward step in that very movie or the next one. There wasn't much progression (not much of regression either tbh) for Stark Jr.

But Infinity War and Endgame humanized his character and provided a very good closure to his journey. It helped that Marcus & McFeely focused a great deal on Tony in these two movies but they made it count and RDJ brought his A game when it mattered the most. He earned his moment.

Speaking of RDj, anyone else watched this week's Nostalgia Critic?

I'm trying a re-evaluation of The Dictator to see if I love it or not. I hope it doesn't end up like Sausage Party where extreme crude humor numbs me after a point. I want it to be more like Grimsby Brothers (another Cohen joint and quite possibly the most vulgar mainstream comedy) which is one of my favorite comedies ever.

I though RDJ was some high bar that lead actors from Marvel or DC can't reach. :oldrazz:

Nah. I tried but I didn't like it.

Nuclear Nadal is the best part of the movie (his banter with Aladeen is awesome) but overall I just didn't enjoy the movie as much as I wanted it to.

My feelings exactly.

It's claimed that the Snyder Cut is not happening and that Warner Bros. is mad at Zack Snyder and won't ever again be working with him.

A website claims that insiders have filled them in that Warner Bros. has no plans to release the Snyder Cut in any form, including HBO Max.

It's claimed that Zack Snyder did have a meeting with Warner Bros. and that Snyder requested $20 million to complete filming and to finish the movie.

It's said WB turned down Snyder.

It's further said that WB isn't at all happy with how Snyder keeps promoting the release of the Snyder Cut on social media and through certain film websites, that WB doesn't like being bullied into spending more money or releasing the film.

It's also said that WB considers all the Snyder Cut fans just "noise," and that each time the Snyder Cut trends on Twitter it makes WB less likely to release the movie.

The website also makes a point of stating the Snyder Cut isn't finished and says The Flash movie is being used to wipe out the Zack Snyder DCEU movies because WB is so fed up with Snyder.

They probably had a hard time justifying another movie with "Justice League" in the title after the first one flopped.

This should be interesting. If they give it the same budget level the Marvel and Star Wars stuff on D+ is working with, this could be really cool.

Talking about bad robots, I planned on doing a Bayformers marathon (minus AoE, watched it last month and it's still totally f**king awesome) today but I wasn't able to do it. I screwed up the whole day. Didn't watch anything of note and dozed off for the better part of it.

It's almost 6am in here and I can't sleep.

S1 of Two and A Half Men wasn't that funny but S2, S3, S4 & 3 episodes of S5 has been on fire.

This is so much fun. I nearly choked on junk food a half an hour ago from laughing. So yes, we are back in business baby!

Sadly it all goes downhill during season 7 and the rest of the series isn't worth it.

I have planned to stop after season 5.

I remember the sadness when Sheen was replaced by Kutcher. I was a very impressionable teenager and it hurt my feelings!

So true. But I still chuckle every time I think about Sheen's Tiger Blood rant.

I dont care what anyone says the Sheen years of Two and a Half Men are some of the funniest sitcom TV ive ever watched. Its one of those shows where the whole cast is funny and have great comedic timing. Yes, the jokes are lewd but Sheen, Cryer and the cast deliver the jokes so impeccably well.
