Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Ok, but let's consider this: let's say they were all horsing around, they were drinking, they asked Ezra to playfully choke her

....what?

Now put those mental gymnastics to work for Johns/Berg/Whedon trying to finish out the Justice League shoot under a very specific mandate. It's almost like these situations of clear wrongdoing are way more similar than any of you want to admit.

But yes, accountability > entertainment. Don't think too hard about that sentence because if you do you're trying to get people to argue

I honestly do not give a @#$& what an actor, actress, sports player, celebrity may or may not of done in their personal life. If I worried about each and every so-called bad or horrible things people do in their personal life then I would should just put down the remote and not be watching anything. No movies, tv shows sports etc
I just want a good product with what I'm watching.
You can find dirt on anybody if you really tried so why bother.
Just focus on the product and enjoy.
Its not about not believing things its about that happened in their personal life so thats their problem and the movie, tv show or sports game is for me to consume. Not their personal information.
If WB has a problem then they will deal with it on their terms.
People just need to get over things.

Happy Friday brehs. Will miss out on the fandom.

Hope I'm wrong and bald Supe fans on here get a win.

Gotta love generalizations. Ignore button is looking mighty tasty right about now.

Awesome.

To this day, I believe that "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise should have been more like the PS4 game. If they had gone down that route, then Sony would probably still have the franchise all to themselves.

Dude, did you watch the video?

I still love the first one, but Age Of Ultron was always severely mediocre to me. Though given some of the BTS stuff I've heard, latter's not entirely on him.

I think opposite. Ultron was better while the original was laughably bad. Outside of Ruffalo's Hulk, the original isn't even much of a step up against his JL. Lol.

I feel like the first Avengers film would have been better if it had the following:

  • The cinematography from "Age of Ultron". Watching the first Avengers film, you could really tell that Whedon did not have any experience in directing an big budget blockbuster.
  • Switch out Captain America's and Thor's costumes with their AOU outfits.
  • Make Loki more threatening to the other heroes. Also, the choreography and shots for his fight with Thor was just terrible.
  • Remove several jokes from the film.
In regards to AOU, I really hated on how the stakes felt cheaper than what we had previously seen in the prior solo films. I didn't really feel like anyone was in real danger. The Russos really legitimized the credibility of the threat that Hydra possessed. Yet, Whedon made them look like complete jokes afterwards.

Speaking of which, the PS4 Spider-Man game feels like a blessing and a curse at the same time. Why? Because it makes me realize on how much potential has been wasted with the MCU Spider-Man. I get that Feige wants the MCU version to feel different from previous incarnations.

However, I feel like they've deviated so much from the established mythology that I don't connect with Tom's Spider-Man as much. Don't get me wrong; Tom is GREAT in the role. I love what he brings to the table. My issues mainly stems from how the MCU Spider-Man (and his villains) have been stuck under Iron Man for the past two films.

I want to see Tom's Peter Parker actually join the MCU version of the Daily Bugle and actually interact with the characters there. Plus, I'm just not a big fan of the MCU's take on MJ.

Hailee Steinfield is definitely my preferred choice for the role.

I always laugh when people get mad because Snyder killed Jimmy Olsen, though in the movie it's shown that he was just an undercover agent who was using Jimmy Olsen's identity. (No matter what Snyder initially wanted to do with the character, as stated by him in one of his interviews).

But there was no big outrage (as was for killing of Jimmy) when Whedon killed Agent Coulson in Avengers and Quicksilver in AoU.

Heck Thor's mother got killed in TDW and there was barely any reaction. But fake Jimmy Olsen's death is too much for them.

As for Ezra's case, I wouldn't be against a recast. WB have no control on how actors behave in their own life, but if the actors get arrested and convicted then they have to act and take action (like fire them)

But without any legal sentence, is it OK to fire them ? (For Amber Heard, Johnny Depp and Ezra Miller)

Firing based on flimsy evidence sounds like a slippery slope.

But WB (Studios) have to ensure that the work environment on sets of their movies is not toxic, if they do receive complaints then it's their duty to act.

Many people complained against Joss Whedon, Jon Berg and Goeff Johns they cannot brush it under carpet. It's a case of unprofessionalism with co-workers.

Well...I would certainly hope criminal conviction isn't the bare minimum requirement of fireable offenses. Otherwise people would have free reign to be complete a***holes and terrible at their jobs without consequence. But I get what you're saying.
