Lounge of Justice - Part 90

It was awful, it made the 2 AVP movies looked good

What happened?

Shane Black hired a registered sex offender without telling the cast. Olivia Munn found out and escalated the issue. Haphazard editing ensued.

I knew about this. That doesn't explain even 1% of why that movie was as bad as it was.

He hired his friend who was trying to have sex with 14 year old girls to be in the movie and then tried to defend the move after his cast called him out on it. He was ready to ride that pony to the end till the studio had him apologize.

Oh now you both mention it I did hear something about that.

I'm actually looking forward to the Demon Souls remake.

That was the first Soulsborne game I played but at the time, I never finished it and I always wanted to back and play it again. So an update, PS5 version of it? Count me in.

That $69.99 price tag, though...

For Demon Souls or PS5 games in general? Yeah, $69.99 is a lot.

This is why I would rather pay the extra $100 for the disk slot. I've saved quite a bit of money by buying games and either trading them in at Gamestop when finished or getting cash back. Plus, with membership, I can try a game out and if I don't like it, I get my money back if I bring it back within a week. Paying that much for digital when, after I'm done, I can't do anything with it, that feels very confining.

I hope this push to digital doesn't completely push Gamestop out of business.

And if these systems do ever go all digital, I would think that should lead to a cost reduction in games as you aren't producing and packaging actual physical media. Plus you don't get money taken off the top by brick and mortar shops or Target/Walmart/Best Buy, etc, but I doubt it changes the prices any.

Man, that was depressing to read about. If the recent accusations made against him are accurate, then it's a great thing for a lot of people that he's no longer in charge of anything.

Peter Shinkoda is the actor that portrayed Nobu in Seasons 1 and 2 for Marvel's Daredevil. Despite being portrayed as a major recurring villain in both seasons, he was given very little from the role and had to cover practically all of his major expenses while he was on set for filming.

shinkoda had also mentioned that jeph loeb told the writers to not write for nobu and madame gao because according to loeb: "nobody cares about asian people."

even though he was a major villain in season 2.

unfortunately, this is a common mindset in the industry.

That Van Damme?
