Lounge of Justice - Part 90

I watched Mute and Upgrade back-to-back in preparation for Cyberpunk 2077.

Upgrade was awesome but Mute on the other hand...

I never bothered watching Mute. Couldn’t tell what it was about and couldn’t muster enough interest to ever find out.

When's the latest release date for Cyberpunk? I looked online and saw Dec. 10th, but I don't know if that was already moved.

A mysterious object is hurtling towards Earth, and scientists don't know what it is

Chodas found that the object had already passed relatively close to Earth several times over the past decades, including one moment that indicated it could have actually launched from Earth, according to NASA.

"One of the possible paths for 2020 SO brought the object very close to Earth and the Moon in late September 1966," Chodas said in a statement. "It was like a eureka moment when a quick check of launch dates for lunar missions showed a match with the Surveyor 2 mission."

The object's low relative velocity and orbital plane also supported the argument that the object was potentially not of natural origin.

aliens bruh. aliens.

If aliens did come, we end up killing one of them like in that one south park episode. Most likely end up being banned from some galactic federation.

Speaking of aliens, I watched Man Of Steel again the other day. Haven't seen it in years. It's definitely better than I remember. It's a big improvement over Superman Returns and is definitely better than most of the stuff the DCEU has done bar Wonder Woman.

Don't watch MUTE. Awful garbage. That guy hasn't made a good flick since MOON, even tho tis' basically a ''twist'' on 2001 and various other flicks. Yeah, I even thought Source Code was meh.

My only request is that the aliens wait till after The Batman comes out. That is all. After that? Do what you gotta do, fam

i too thought of the same thing.

though if aliens existed and have developed faster than light travel, they'd probably fly over earth and ignore us.

like how we walk over ants everyday and don't even care.

we're too primitive for them to learn much from us.

@Kane52630

@StarLord

Came upon a trailer for a flick called 'Parallel', it looks like a mixture of 'Ready or Not' and 'Happy Death Day' with time travel/parallel universe plot. Apparently the flick was made in 2018, but was only able to get distribution till now. Comes out Dec 11th. Can't post the trailer due to language, but it looks like damn good fun. Must warn you the trailer does give a lot away, so only suggest watching the first 30 seconds or so. I'm definitely renting it on release day tho, I'm a sucker for time travel plots.

Netflix movie from Duncan Jones. A step-up from Warcraft, but definitely nowhere near Moon or Source Code. A wasted potential.

My pre-order still says December 10th, so...fingers crossed, lol.
I just pre-ordered it on Amazon. Hopefully this time it's for real.
Yeah at this point, it's definitely coming out on the 10th.

Well, on the 9th for me since I'll be buying digital (PC). :D

I know that many trans people first come out as gay but it's kind of funny that he came out as gay some years ago because if he likes women he's straight. Also hope his wife knew about this and is bi/pansexual because marriages often don't survive an announcement like this.

But there was a time when I had a dream that Ellen Page was my sister, how am I supposed to remember that dream now? It won't change that I had that dream more than a year before this announcement, but I won't be able to talk about it without feeling awkward after today.

That's awesome news, it deserves to be seen in the best quality. I'm still gonna try my best to catch it in theaters, though. My family would love to be able to do one of those $150 private screenings for it if they will still be offering that. There are 6 of us, which comes down to $25 each, which would be worth it to us for the added safety and a private screening.
