Lounge of Justice - Part 90

I’m actually a little disappointed Denis isn’t involved, and that Ridley is taking such a big role. Guy has completely lost his touch with Alien, hopefully that isn’t the case here

The Last Duel was great, fam. They don't make them like this no more and House of Gucci was great camp. Ironically, both worth a watch for former Batman and Joker respectively. Eh.

This week has been spent gearing up for a big trip, I am leaving the sunny climate of Cali and heading across the southern pond to the DR, where it is relatively way more warmer. . I will be spending time with my girlfriend and her family, taking opportunities to travel around as time, money, and COVID safety allow. Needless to say, the internet down there sucks, but unfortunately won't get to The Batman on time, which may or may not work in my favor, cause would rather watch it with less folks around my breathing area.

I was also checking them oscar list and The Green Knight didn't get any major noms. What a goddamn joke. As a film buff one wants to support them cringe awards shows, but tis' gets harder and harder each year.

I also had another one of them sexy lucid dreams about Zoe as Catwoman, but this time I woke up like thunder, bam! Good sign imo, tis says The Batman will be a great one.

@flickchick85 @Spider-Aziz So, I saw a sale for Dune on Vudu for $12.99 last week and on a whim I said "f*** it" and decided to buy it and give it another shot. This time, i took my time with it and watched it over two days and enjoyed it a LOT more than the first time. I followed the story much better and felt much more engrossed in the world. I STILL think it suffers a bit from having no real climax but I definitely enjoyed it much more and looking forward to part 2.

I think it has a good stoppage point. At least you enjoyed it. :yay:

Rob is probably half-joking, but even then…what?

This headline coupled with the picture they choose to represent this article made me laugh out loud. :funny:

That loud screaming and whining you heard all day today was the #restore crowd seeing the end of Peacemaker. Awesome awesome awesome!

I guess Momoa isn't upset about Frosty anymore ;) :o:funny:

I feel like giving nearly every main Batman character their own HBO Max series is overkill, especially if the story takes place in the same city.

Euphoria wild this season. Give Coleman Domingo his flowers.

I assume lots of people here have read All Star Superman, from which this panel is. And of course I know that the line: "It's never as bad as it seems" might feel like a trope that rarley works in real life. We all know that suicidal tendencies are often way more complicated.

Still, this is Superman for me. He mightn't be aware of all the complicated backround stories tormenting this poor little girl, but he knows he has to be there comforting her, and also trying to save yet another life. Because he's Superman.

tl;dr: I love this panel.

Such a brilliant Superman story. When even Lex (the old enemy since like 1940) sees the world as Superman does, we know we're up for a great story. Which is also very uniqe compared to the usual Lex as president etc.

I saw Uncharted...hahaha that was quite the turd! The green screening on that film is laughably bad. And Tom Holland continues to look like a little boy playing dressup...dress up... don't get me started on his awful Boston accent.

If that movie is cleaning up The Batman has zero to worry about.

I saw the Green Knight. I dunno if its Oscar snub material but it was fun.
The Fox from Antichrist had a sizable role.

From what I gathered this might be an unpopular opinion among Superman fans, but I love the Grounded storyline for covering similar grounds.

I thought Grounded was quite good. The stories where Superman is experiencing life on the street level are some of the most satisfying.

Man, world events just seem to get grimmer and grimmer these days.

I think youre the first person ive seen describe that movie as “fun” :funny:
