Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Rumors suggest that Jim Lee will oversee DC's films.

If so, Henry will be back. Those two have a bond.

Oh, and For Tomorrow.
Does this rumor stem from what Guggenheim said in regards to Ezra's cameo?

Yeah, he said Lee was instrumental in making sure the cameo happened. Apparently he made sure DCEU Flash was available and they called Ezra to see if he was up to it which he was. That had some people speculate he could have a hand in running the slate, though I think they probably took the comment out of context.

Guess who got Routh back as well..

..Jim Lee.

I want DC to get to the grand finale where 4 cinematic Batmen and 2 or more Supermen team up in act 2 or 3 to complete a quick mission to save the universe.

I mean MCU don't have the multi versions available yet and DCU has that history, use it to your advantage before others catch up on that aspect!

Cavill wants his coin. BFD. He’s said some dumb stuff though, I’ll admit.

Also I’d take William Jackson Harper for Supes over MBJ any day of the week.

Yeah, I don't get it really. I have different definitions of trash. The dude works in Hollywood and negotiates. Isn't that what he's supposed to do? Wasn't he told "no" in his early career? He got to get his. Nothing wrong with that.

He said some off kilter things that blew over. In the end, the guy never hurt anyone or never did outlandishly horrid things, get arrested or abuse drugs to put his career in jeopardy like some.

Henry has been in the headlines, but nothing that would go beyond a fart in a wind. On the flipside, There are also a huge writeups (and one recent just the other day) documenting what a class act Cavill is, how he hangs out with his fans like friends, plays video games and likes to mingle. That's it lol.

Jim Lee doesn't give me a lot of confidence, and I don't respect Cavill the way I used to after his recent comments.
For Tomorrow being an inspiration isn't a deal breaker, it depends how much of an influence it has.
The Dark Knight Returns was an inspiration for BVS but it completely inverted a lot of it.
If we take that as a model, perhaps all they would take from FT is the concept of mass disappearances or cabal of powerful figures targeting Superman.
I would certainly be against a direct adaptation of For Tomorrow, but it isn't entirely devoid of interesting ideas that could be reused.

Just hearing Henry speak about the character, I think what he liked about For Tomorrow is how Kal dealt with things mentally and how he reached in different places for help, like going go have conversations in a church. I think what Cavill wants to do deep down is getting to know what Clark thinks internally. He wants more intimacy with Clark as a character as well as Lois and really wants to dabble into the psychological battles of killing Zod and the aftermath that would have on such a powerful presence like Superman.

Jim Lee is just going to be their Creative consultant, I doubt he can green-light movie projects, Hamada is still looking after DC movies.

There is a good amount of evidence to support that they only won through cheating. Watch the clips and you can hear the banging..

That's not really how baseball works, and we don't know that there's evidence to support how their cheating impacted the postseason. That they won because of the cheating is going to be the perception, and that's all that matters. Their title is tainted. Their great performances and big moments are tainted. Their vaunted use of analytics and rebuild is tainted. Their team's great run is tainted. Careers are stalled/ruined and Hall of Fame candicacies will be in question. Their future performance will be under scrutiny. And the Yankees, Dodgers, and to a lesser degree, Cleveland's fans are pissed. It's a shame all around.

How come Beltran was the only player named?

Probably because when confronted, he said in a public interview that he knew nothing about it.

His Me too reaction and another quote where he basically said he's not attracted to certain women.

His obsession with fame, but mostly money, isn't exactly appealing either.

Eh, his comments about money and what he looks for in a woman/companion is pretty straight forward and honest. I respect that. Is he suppose to find all women of certain ages, race, body types attractive? Nah, he likes what he likes. We all do. It might be kinda ''tacky'' to talk so open about money, but that's his business. Still a long way from being a ''trashy person'', but tis' just me.

I would wolf her.

She is the only reason why I'll be back for season 3, but I hope to see her in better auteur type flicks/series. She deserves better. She had a blink and you missed it part on OUATIH.

How come Beltran was the only player named? If they name all the players it doesn’t matter if they are in other teams now, managements would be too scared not to discipline them in some way through public pressure or...Twitter lol

My take: Only reason Manfred didn't give player names is because of the players union. Beltran was no longer a player, but worse in Manfred's eyes, he was now a manager, leading his own team (interesting that Brian McCann wasn't named). So he ever so conveniently named Beltran in order to throw him to the wolves and let the court of public opinion and media pressure take care of him.

It's a pretty crappy thing for Manfred to do if he told the players they had immunity and then to contradict that for a single player who was no longer protected by the union.

It also shows me Manfred really wanted to punish the players but didn't want to fight the union.

It's believed Beltran was one of the ringleaders. This is Manfred's way of putting a stop to it. He made an example of him.

Season 3 of what?

I always liked how you put things BN. When you're on..you're on.

I'm not real into guns, but I'm on the shortlist to get a new Colt .357 Python revolver. I just think its one of the most beautiful guns ever made, I was going to buy an older model, but will wait for this new batch.

I will shoot it at the range a few times a year and put it away. Mostly will just have it as an 'art piece'' of sorts, I know it sounds like a weird way to describe it, but this model is so damn sexy.

I have a glock 19 and a 9mm Beretta

For those who have seen '1917', I had a bit of a nerd type moment. This ain't a spoiler.

They mention 'No Mans Land'', and I just imagined them walking into that and running and seeing Wonder Woman out there, but they gotta keep going, as they got their own mission to complete. Lawd.
