I feel the rest of the world outside Asia's mostly like "just be aware of it and it will arrive one day but we'll cure it it's ok" while in China it's a different story - parents been sent home from hospitals to die and a lot of patients are not diagnosed with the new disease so they don't occupy resources. Feel very sad for them.

One Chinese expert based in HK went to Wuhan for a day then rushed home the next day - he's suppose to go to the "crime scene" to investigate the origin - unfortunately the scene (a market) is very very clean right now, people were living as normal no precautions, so he bolted and next day the city's locked. It's on various international mainstream media now, only 1 local Chinese site is reporting this now.

PS Xi and the prime minister are holed up in non-contaminated areas right now, thought they should at least pretend to be in the affected area to calm people down.

reports were saying china's at least more open this time about sharing information compared to SARS, where they tried to full on cover it up back in 2003.

still scary though.

Titans is such a frustratingly hot mess its not even funny. Theres so much potential and theres great ingredients in the dish but its so misguided. The showrunner has the complete wrong impulse on where to take the show.

It's because of Titans S2 (especially that god-awful finale) that I dropped the service.

And now I'm reading they are adding even more characters to S3. How about we focus on the plethora of characters you already have and find a voice for the show?

It's almost as if there are 2 showrunners, one who wants the show to be about the Titans and the other wants Young Justice, and they are competing with each other for who gets what. And the result is this odd mishmash of all-over-the-place storytelling where scenes just go from one to the next without any sense of urgency and stuff just happens. Stuff is set up but ignored (are Conner and Dick still in trouble with the law?). It's the Disney Star Wars trilogy of the DC shows.

They have just locked up the whole province yesterday.

There were 1 confirmed case in AUS now 4, our kiwi prime minister (the one that took a baby to UN meetings instead of using her husband next door, or a nanny) decided to hand out pamphlets to tourists yesterday.

Ya they covered it up for 4 monthsin 2003, this time less than 2 months. I am really unsure why we don't see international medical staff going there to help, too scary to let them see the wards?

Their leader ignored wuhan in his new year speech and they still held the new year shows, unbelievable, everyone in bright red, you'd expect him to at least make a fake news about him staying with the people in the locked up cities, dont bother.

I think WHO head is Ethiopian taking over from a Chinese who held power for 10 years. And most nations around the world are still waiting for their recommendation. While a country of 1.4B is locking up cities and unleashing tourists and students around the world. Totally not urgent. This is what happens when you let North Korea 2.0 take over the world.

That thing in the finale was bloody terrible. I agree there’s so much potential.I like the characters and if they were allowed to flourish the show would be one of my favourites.

Oh noes, 6 superhero movies for one year, the nightmare.
Oversaturation of posters is one terror people should feel discomfort with, the other would be that these will earn close to a $billion a piece while other moves won't get as much attention.
