Lounge of Justice - Part 90

I'm completely heartbroken over Kobe Bryant.

RIP

I won't get over this for a long time. I can't imagine what his family is going through.

I'm shook and kind of sick actually. I swear if any of his girls were onboard, MY GOD :(

My heart goes out to Vanessa Bryant. Losing her husband and 13 year old daughter in the same day.

An undeniable icon gone far far too soon, I’ve never experienced anything like the Initial shock of Kobe’s passing.

not a laker fan, but as a fan of the sport who witnessed so many of his his career accolades, it simply doesn’t feel real.

I'm still trying to process this right now. I've been numb this whole afternoon. Didn't know his daughter was on the plane. I wish I didn't know that. They've shown them at LA games so many times recently, and showing Kobe teaching her how to get better (to get into the WNBA), and even put clips of himself on social media of him practicing with his daughter.

SMH

I've been feeling numb all day. Found out while at FitExpo at LA Convention Center, so I was within walking distance to the memorials. Seeing everyone showing up at Staples and the Kobe Mural was surreal. He will always be my favorite NBA Player and the GOAT. Gonna be a tough week for all of LA.

Did you guys see that MSNBC news anchor, Alison Morris, who used the freakin N WORD while covering Kobe’s passing?

I mean just, wow. Like, tbh, i wanna give her the benefit of the doubt but it definitely sounded like a freudian slip on her end.

I could see that. But whatever the case shes getting raked at the coals on social media. I dont think she’s gonna have a job come Monday.

This is excruciating in every sense of the word. My dad compared it to when Roberto Clemente died tragically. For me, I got this same feeling for when Dale Earnhardt hit that wall in 2001 holding off the pact for his son and team in the Daytona 500..maybe worse.

Just sick. Having a 2 year old little girl, I cried many tears last night.

Euhh, just absolutely GUT WRENCHING. I weep for Vanessa. My God I hope every positive force of nature is with her, her girls and all family effected to get through, as well as the others who unfairly perished. No words. Words can't comprehend the magnitude these family's are going through. So much agony.

I guess the one silver lining is the early reports that Rick Fox and the rest of Bryant's children were also on the copter turned out to be false.

hearing reports there were other kids (gianna's teammates) and their parents on that helicopter.
this is truly awful news.

rip and condolences to all those families who lost loved ones to this accident.
:csad:

still cannot believe this

the guy was on my tv a few times a week for years and in the blink of an eye he's gone

Do we still not know what happened with the helicopter?

probably need to wait for investigation to finish to know.
but nearby witnesses did say they heard the engine sputtering before it crashed.

the pilot was experienced and qualified to fly it in those foggy conditions they had that morning.

this sounds to be a total freak accident. if it was a random engine failure.
absolutely bad luck. it's terrible.

No decoy title? Surprising. Might mean very little on-location shooting.

I just hope the suit is as good as the one in BvS. That was and probably will be the most comic accurate suit we ever got for a movie since Adam West.
