Imagine a future JL movie with a 70 year old Batman next to young WW, Superman and Aquaman? lol

All of these “scoopers” were saying JDM was coming back as Thomas Wayne a little over 24 hours ago. Now some are acting like they knew Keaton was coming back. All those cats are full of it.

To be fair Thomas Polito has 5 guesses at the POC cat woman and he couldn’t get one right, chucked out Vanessa Kirby as Black Canary and Catwoman, he’s like the worst insider out there lol

Imagine Keaton as the point man and shows up to take Zoe at the end of The Batman to team her up with Margot for GCS, then bring Batgirl to DCEU for GCS vs Proper BOP

They literally referred him as nick fury, that means they are probably discussing long term deals with proper roles like Batman beyond and ?JL

Heck, imagine he brings in Michelle Pfeiffer for GCS, or Anne Hathaway, or Halle Barry, like she needs to have a cameo for a huge laugh

Keaton/JGL bat beyond would be pretty cool

I think The Batman will take place within a self-contained universe à la Nolan's TDK trilogy; same goes for Joker assuming there's a sequel. Virtually everything else (Flash, WW, BoP, GCS, Suicide Squad, et al.) will be part of the nascent multiverse.

Trades pretty much confirmed it. Reeves will be in his own bubble away from everything else

I'm still iffy on Suicide Squad and all that. Producers for that and BOP swear the movies are their own thing and total reboots

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say that Keaton's playing the Batman from Earth-89 rather than a new version of Batfleck. Assuming he's being courted to reprise the role in a recurring capacity (across multiple films and such), that would explain why some are referring to him as the "main" version of the character. Perhaps he's inheriting some of the plans that were originally meant for Ben as well.

Hillarie Dean Morgan, JDM's wife, responded with hearts on twitter when it was suggested that JDM was being considered for Flashpoint.

Keaton is Burton's Bruce.
JDM will still be Thomas Wayne me thinks.

Definitely feeling like that’s what we’re getting on those two fronts.

That would be a great addition if they’re really gonna do flashpoint. I’m in support of it, especially if the movie resets the entire film universe to make things more cohesive and gives everyone a clean slate, creatively. I’m game.

They may want to have their cake and eat it too - Just say it's alternate universes/timelines, so you can have, say, Snyder's version of JL on HBO Max but still have Momoa's and Gadot's respective future installments be their own thing, to put an example.

1) Keaton, as a "mentor" figure operating on "Earth-89";

2) Affleck, or his recasting, on "Prime Earth”: about that, I'd invite you --- allow me some form of worth-less pareidolia --- to look at the profile-image of the "Youtube" account of "HBO Max": standing at the center of this slate of characters are Gadot’s WW, Morpheus, Deanerys Targaryen, "West-world"'s Maeve, Newt Scamander & Affleck's Batman;

3) Pattinson, in a sort of "Black Label" trilogy;

4) JDM, as "Flash-point" Batman, in his --- own --- universe.

Rereading THR's article again there's this tidbit I missed:

Matt Reeves' The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson in the title role, is currently being looked as separate from Flash and other DC Universe movies, but the Flash feature project offers an intriguing pathway between franchises the Flash feature project offers an intriguing pathway between franchises: The story is said to involve not just time travel but inter-dimensional travel. This raises the idea, more tantalizing now with the Keaton development, that you can cross over from one “movie universe” to another.

This seriously reads like WB is taking Keaton from the Burtonverse and putting him in the DCEU and thus allowing him to be a Nick Fury type. Keaton replacing Batfleck sounds like a real possibility
