Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Keep some of the cast (Gadot, momoa, and whoever is in flashpoint as flash) and reboot the rest. That'll make me happy.

If they have some grand plan with it. Don't want the fans to be like

Haha everyone walks out of the cinema and he’s just there to explain

I doubt that all be recast. My guess is this is a soft reboot due to flashpoint.

It may be that, That’s what some reports are speculating

I wonder what happens to Harley Quinn and Titans. Also, cancellation may be a better fate than moving to the CW. The budget is going to be embarrassing.

At this point they need to stop dragging it out and confirm DC Universe is done.
Yes the streaming portion seems almost certainly a goner at this point and while we’re demanding they tell us stuff, I need them to assure me they’ll be keeping it (or some service) around for the comics, goddammit. :argh:

I cancelled after that disastrous Titans S2 finale. I'd still pay for the comics service if they had that as an add on option to HBO Max.

New day, new rumour. How many movies have been "announced" in the last month?

Batgirl with Keaton as mentor.
Zatanna.
Raven.
Constantine.
JL rebirth.

I don't trust these "scoops" at all.

Nah. If you're going to reboot, you might as well go all the way. Cast new actors for Wonder Woman and Aquaman

I couldn’t care less about Titans, but I really hope Harley Quinn gets picked up by HBO Max.

I'd watch the hell out of that. It's not worth paying a subscription fee for a 30 minute show. But put it on a different service that already has a lot more reasons to subscribe and that can only help. The handful of episodes I did watch cracked me up.

But that's what would be weird to me. Aquaman made over a billion, and that wasn't even a sequel. WW did really well critically and with fans even though it didn't bank bonkers money. I would expect the sequel to be set up for a big pay day in the same way Batman Begins didn't make the much money but the sequels were huge. It would seem weird to go in a completely different direction. Then again, I have no idea what's real here and whether there is a plan that makes sense under-girding all of this.

I think the comics option would always remain a separate app from Max because it requires a totally different interface. AT&T didn’t even spring for a new UI when they commandeered HBO Now and changed it to Max, so I doubt they’d make any such efforts for something so niche as a comics section.

I know y’all love AT&T right now because they greenlit something you wanted, but they have a terrible track record when it comes to entertainment management and customer satisfaction (just look at their last failed streaming service, the death of their “Audience Network,” or even how bungled the Max launch was). They are definitely not the company I’d choose to be in charge of WB, HBO or DC content in any way, if I had any say.

Well I don’t know if you saw but the 2 existing seasons are definitely coming to HBO Max soon at least.

Courtney's shirt almost looks like it was that of Captain America in this image.

It's a nice way for WB to have their cake and eat it too

They can do solo "director driven" movies while at the same time chase MCU money

Man i defended Titans for so long but i couldnt do it anymore after that finale. The showrunner completely s*** the bed with that series. They got the complete wrong person to steer that ship. Say what you will about Berlanti but he probably would've at least made that show FEEL like Titans and it would’ve been fun to watch. I would gladly take him over this showrunner who seems to be doing everything in his power to steer away from the superheroics.

Man I hope that JL: Rebirth rumor is true. There really might just be something for everyone down the line. A win-win scenario for all!

After the major crapfest that was the Titans season 2 finale, I’m ok with them pulling the plug on it entirely or moving to HBO MAX. But they need a new writers room, oh my god please.

It took that long for people to realize the show was trash? I watched the trailer for season 1 and noped out.
