Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Yooo my California hypsters please be safe. It be lookin like the third act of TC Justice League out there.

and this youtube video is of the south bay here, bro lives around my area:

looks like mars with those hills in the background.

This is honestly what they should have done with Dune. We could have gotten all 6 books adapted.

On a related note, people were complaining that the trailer didn't feature Zimmer's score and used a Pink Floyd cover instead. Well, turns out it's Zimmer's own arrangement of Eclipse for the movie.

that pink floyd cover worked well in the trailer, imo.

makes the footage feel more epic than it already is.

I can’t wait for the day where we all get to come together as a global audience and experience the phenomenon that is Morbius.

i honestly want to see it though.
it seems to be a better role for leto than his joker was.

This was unexpected.

Instead of remaking "Prince of Persia", could we get someone to remake the Avengers video game again? The current one is just so disappointing.

Why couldn't they get the same guys that worked on the Spider-Man game?

Armie Hammer and Gal in the movie Death on The Nile.

At this point, rather than rushing out their big budget movies into theaters (like they did for Tenet), it would be wise to wait and see how movies released by other Studio fare.

WB should let Disney release Death on Nile, Black Widow and see how they perform. If they do badly, at least WB won't lose money, and they can postpone WW84 to early next year, early March or April 2021 would be a good date. There's no point in foolishly (or should I say greedily ?) releasing big budget movies (one after the other) during the peak pandemic period.

dune looks to be a classic sci-fi epic.

in other words, the GA won't care for it and it won't make a lot of money.

i'm wondering if it went the tv series route like game of thrones would it do better?

relatively high budget like got...not like the syfy channel series that came out some years ago.. lol

I don't know anything about Dune but that trailer looked bland as hell to me. Other than Arrival, I don't think I have enjoyed any of the Denis Villeneuve movies. I think he is an extremely talented filmmaker who can make engaging movies but he always drags it so much that I find his pacing extremely annoying and the easily predictable stories he chooses don't do him any favours either. Be it Prisoners or BR2049 or whatever. It's like his movies always check the right boxes in the technical aspects from a filmmaking student or critics POV but the audience just can't bring themselves to enjoy them.
