To me, Ben, in costume, calls to mind not only Jim Lee's influential take on the Bat, but Jason Fabok's and Clay Mann's as well. Visually speaking, I suspect that it'll be years before we get that level of comic book accuracy in a live-action portrayal of the character again.

Case in point: Here's the latest promo art for Tom King's upcoming Bat/Cat maxiseries, illustrated by the aforementioned Mann. Compare that with the accompanying Batfleck image from the Snyder Cut. Pretty uncanny resemblance there if you ask me.

Just to add, BoP has already crossed the break-even point, as the movie earned $202 mil on a $ 82 mil budget (without releasing in China) , earned another $14 mil in Bluray & DVD sales (US sales only.), and is doing well in streaming and then there's revenue from merchandise sales.

The CW showrunners were just bad, they wasted potential of many actors, lot of talented actors in many of DC shows on CW.

So I finally got around to doing the math and discovered the $4.99/mo HBO Max discount you get for 6 months with the DC Universe bundle saves more money than the $11.99/mo discount for a full year that I was using, and hopped on that train before it was too late. With the announcement of DCU Infinite, they extended that bundle through October, for anyone who didn't know. Very worthwhile if you already have DCU and use it for the comics, imo.
