that beginning truck chase with giamatti was great. you can tell he was having fun with it.
seeing the asm2 suit in action like that was glorious.

also the little bit of cantonese that garfield speaks when he saves that old man and little girl from the bus wasn't too shabby. you can tell he try to get the pronunciation right.
the old man said "thank you" and garfield responded with "you're welcome!"
i loved little touches like that. such a spider-man thing to do.

i notice these random punch attacks usually happen on the elderly.
it's basically bullying people who can't fight back.

and rich moranis is a grandpa at this point.

Even if I don't like them as a whole, the ASM movies had amazing bits and parts. The rescue of the boy in the bridge, a great aunt May, a great captain Stacy, the second had one of my favourite suits, and some fantastic banter. I kind of wish they had made a third part.

it was overall great casting in those movies.

sally fields is probably my favorite aunt may.

the scene in part 2 where she tells garfield "you're my boy" is probably the most moving peter and aunt may scene to me.
that actually felt real. and it got to me.
