RE: Godzilla vs Kong, I think WB is buying as much time as possible until they inevitably announce that they lost the film reel on an exec retreat last year in Cancun and the movie is cancelled.

So that leaves WW84 with little options, it's either April or June. I think The Suicide Squad is still holding it's initial release date of August 2021.

At this point I barely even raise an eyebrow whenever I see they moved the date of another DC movie. It's amusing. There's an odd part of me that almost feels like WB had this coming. Can't quite explain it but there's something entertaining about seeing a mega corporation find itself in a situation like that. But then you start thinking of all the people who worked their asses off on those flicks and whose jobs were affected by the situation and wished they didn't have to pay the price for it.

If they can't re-open properly by Christmas then it makes sense moving WW84 to one of the weekends next year, I mean I don't buy this "all weekends are taken" BS, it's WW84 and she could bully some of the films into moving

It's been done filming since late 2019. Pretty much collecting dust in a WB vault somewhere now.

GvK is still slated for May, I believe.

It's only going to get delayed thrice more, and over the next year the only new information we'll have regarding it is Adam Wingard doing an interview where he says how much fun he had shooting it without delving into plot-specific details. The new New Mutants.
