I don't mind him not liking something...he has every right to that. My problem is he makes himself sound like the arbiter of what is and is not the true Superman and well...he isn't.

He is no better a fan of the character than the people who like MOS but he always sounds like he would say otherwise. That is why I say he sounds like a dbag.

To each their own. He was specifically asked about his view of Superman so if there’s a version he hates that simply isn’t Superman to him, I don’t see the issue with him stating it in the jokey manner he did here.

Pam and Tommy

Lily James is a great actress. She can do anything. No matter how fun and entertaining this was, I can't feel but think that she was too good for this. I wouldn't call it a waster of her talents, but she should be in the Pugh, ATJ, Margot, type tier when it comes to fighting for roles etc. Having said that, she looks damn good as Pam, so cheers to that.

If this was the only time he did it I would agree with you.

Here is the thing, I even agree with him most of the time and for the most part I like his comics even though he never met a plothole he couldn't ignore for funsies and he has more comic knowledge than I could ever hope to and he knows it which is both interesting and slightly off-putting. All he has to do is be a bit more diplomatic and he wouldn't sound as bad. He has never done that...not since the premiere of the film and in my eyes (and I am only speaking for me) it has made him look childish.

I mean I guess that is better than Gail Simone who basically tweets a novel about her love of everything that uses a character she loves...but still.

I will agree that some of his past responses were a bit OTT, but I thought this one was totally 100% appropriate.

Is there a legit way out of this for Zelenskyy? I also personally don't want us as a nation to go on another war, but if Putin goes Dr. No on the world, it seems bleak. I'm also disgusted by how their black/minority population were being treated, even in the horrors of war, our color is an issue. Goddamn.

Morbius will apparently be the I, Frankenstein of this decade, and that 2014 flick is one of the worst movies I had the displeasure of sitting through, but the collective disappointment of a movie that promised to be unpleasant stool will make the release of Morbius an experience worth preserving.

What boggles my mind is I have seen that trailer like 70 times because of all the delays...and in all the extra time they had they never thought to even touch up some of the CGI in the trailer so it might not look like a film on the SyFy Channel? If they don't even care to make the trailer look good then why would anyone believe they would care to make the film look good?

Yeah, I do think Morbius will be the first CBM I skip in theaters since Fant4stic. But I'll definitely rent it. I will be surprised if Leto doesn't record a song for it because the movie is definitely giving off those early 2000s sorta vibes.

So I have nothing to do today so I am reading the Morbius thread on Box Office Theory...quite the rollercoaster the last month or so. It went from people thinking it would be quite financially successful (it cost like $75 million...hence the awful CGI) to basically jumping off a cliff because of the false marketing. Then rumors of the film being boring killed even the decent projections and now apparently the 2 post credits scenes leaked and everyone is confused by them. Here is a tweet that was posted about it:


Apparently the Post NWH Spiverse/Multiverse is quite the mess. (never saw NWH so no clue)

To tell you how negative it has gotten someone legit just asked if they have the comic book film that will have worse legs than BvS

(they are expecting a "good" opening" and then a maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasive drop)
