Speaking of Palpatine, I watched the Lost City of Z, and Ian McDiarmad is part of the cast for that movie.

They have this tier system. 1000 points lets you see a regular 2D movie for free, and then it goes up from there. It's like 1500 for 3D, and 2000 for premium screens. Or something like that. I have over 1000, so I have enough for a 2D showing of any movie. Which works for me, because I hate 3D.

If I was getting a glimpse of games in the future say 10 years ago and saw that as the lineup for 2017 game of the year I’d be disappointed. Not that they aren’t great games but I would have expected games like Horizon to be the norm by this time given the rate of change we were used to growing up. And thought others would be able to knock the likes of Zelda and Mario off their (well deserved) perch by now.

If I was getting a glimpse of games in the future say 10 years ago and saw that as the lineup for 2017 game of the year I’d be disappointed. Not that they aren’t great games but I would have expected games like Horizon to be the norm by this time given the rate of change we were used to growing up. And thought others would be able to knock the likes of Zelda and Mario off their (well deserved) perch by now.

From what I heard, there were too many titles that didn't live up to the hype or were just straight up broken. Horizon was lucky enough to be neither.

Also, Zelda and Odyssey came out as the most cherished of a genuinely new system.
