From what I heard, there were too many titles that didn't live up to the hype or were just straight up broken. Horizon was lucky enough to be neither.
Also, Zelda and Odyssey came out as the most cherished of a genuinely new system.

Might do a few things I enjoy before reading about it in case there's no way back to happiness after that.They did, it's called Lego Dimensions. You build little figurines, and then use them in the game. It was a horrifying glimpse into the future of man.
It was pretty much exactly like Disney Infinity. And like Disney Infinity, it got cancelled. So people bought all these figures, only to be told "game's over, go home". There's a finite amount of times you can team up Voldemort and Finn from Adventure Time before you go insane.
