They came out 4 minutes before you posted that.

.... I'll do whatever I can.

Variety called it "the essence of generic competence".

...Good enough for me. Mostly because it could also be the title of my autobiography.

Oh and by the way... I saw Fallen Angel making some idiotic remark... "Why is Zelda still a thing?" ... is the man wishing for death? Does he want me to find him and send him to my Canadian prison?

Breath of the Wild is one of the best games of all time. As well as the series. So i hope you fall down and knock your two front teeth out.

For someone with a clinging love for Spawn, you'd think he'd realize the irony in claiming something's well past its prime.

Zelda is the Highlander of video games. In that it's timeless and eternal, and will smite its enemies.

isnt Mario the Lego of video games?

Lego is the Lego of video games. Because Lego is everywhere. It can't be stopped.

only lego game ive played is Harry potter 1-4 ... on wii... and yes... I did feel cool thinking i had a wand.

A new one just came out. It has Captain America as a cowboy. Among other things. But probably mostly that.

Edit: Or it's about to come out. None... none of this matters.

Edit #2: It came out today. Time is an illusion.

From what I heard, there were too many titles that didn't live up to the hype or were just straight up broken. Horizon was lucky enough to be neither.

Also, Zelda and Odyssey came out as the most cherished of a genuinely new system.

You can definitely add Mass Effect: Andromeda to that list. Even though I enjoyed it, it in no way lived up to the 5 year wait from Mass Effect 3 and giving us ME well into the life of a next gen system. The multiplayer was good though. And it seems like most people were much more disappointed. Never seen a top franchise go up in smoke so quickly.

Zelda and Odyssey deserve their spots for sure. I would have hoped that we'd be getting games with Horizon quality as the norm by now and the game of the year to be something really amazing and futuristic (in technical gameplay as well as graphics/sound). The gen has been a bit of a disappointment to me so far but I've been going through my back catalogue anyway. With the games that came out this year those 3 definitely deserve to be on the list.

Lego games are big enough now that it's time to make Lego games of Lego games.

They did, it's called Lego Dimensions. You build little figurines, and then use them in the game. It was a horrifying glimpse into the future of man.

Justice League reviews come out in half an hour. By morning, this place will likely be in flames, so...

...I can't post the rest of the GIF.

I'm really thinking the consensus so far of "it's fine" is going to be problematic in terms of flame wars. I saw what happened to Jim Sterling when he gave Breath of the Wild a 7/10.

Like Disney Infinity was? I don't know much about Lego Dimensions actually. Might do a few things I enjoy before reading about it in case there's no way back to happiness after that.

It was pretty much exactly like Disney Infinity. And like Disney Infinity, it got cancelled. So people bought all these figures, only to be told "game's over, go home". There's a finite amount of times you can team up Voldemort and Finn from Adventure Time before you go insane.

I thought the idea was awesome. I never tried any of these kinds of games but I would have loved to collect a line of physical figures for who you could pretty much buy any character from any franchise and then have the bonus of being able to play them in game. I don't know how the game structure works though for keeping people playing long term. Is it a big MMO?
