I remember that back in the day there was a celeb thread about unusually attractive celebrities. On that line I wanted to ask if you or anyone you know considers or considered Jean Reno as sexy or attractive.
This is because I remember in high school that a girl mentioned how sexy she tough he was. I responded that he seemed to me quite ugly, and she responded that he was, but that he was still very attractive somehow.
And ever since I've wondered, was she nuts?

Or rather, what was that about?
Can one ( as an ugly dude) develop that odd attractiveness somehow?

Discuss.

I'm trying to figure how attraction to physical finesse works. And I don't see Jean Reno as an ugly person, I think he's quite the handsome looking chap.

Can one develop that appeal? I don't know... Some guys no matter their looks have the...

It's probably more to do with personality. If you are comfortable with yourself and can set others at ease, people will find you more attractive.

DJ what's going on with this killer on the loose in Tampa? You aren't near there are you?

Eh, it's the laziest serial killer ever so it fits Tampa perfectly. Dude is just rolling up to poor people and shooting them. Lazy af. Serial killers are supposed to do crazy stuff like skin you and wear it.

Tampa's right across the bridge though, like a 30 min drive to downtown Tampa for me.

Self confidence works wonders. A buddy of mine is pretty damn ugly but he's funny, quick witted and doesn't try too hard to 'get' a girl. He does pretty good for himself.

Still closer than I'd like to be. :(

Well, in any case just be careful out there.

I would, but that's one of my least-favorite episodes of Black Mirror, so I'm less inclined to expend the energy to defend it, lol. I haven't watched it since I first saw it a few years ago. IIRC, it was just about how we are so tuned into the media 24/7, we lose sight of the real world. The fact that the princess (or whoever she was) was released and running around BEFORE he committed the act and no one noticed because the world was all glued to their screens was the real kicker. That's all I've got, lol.

Ha. Okay. Fair enough.

I binged like five episodes today. I hope it doesn't bleed into my dreams. My vivid ones are already Black Mirror-ish enough as is. I certainly see why it gets the praise it does, though five hours is a bit much to soak in that level of... bummer?

Why would you watch something that depressing ? :(

There is a fungus among us.

It's on my head. Dr gave me pills and a special shampoo.

Meh, f*** that guy. This "serial killer" couldn't be more Trampa if he tried. I don't doubt they ride around in a lowered car with neons playing dubstep when they go out. We got plenty of firearms at my apartment and are more than skilled at using them. My drug dealing neighbor has a few too I'm sure.

Sounds like a fun neighborhood. :p

My hometown once had a club that was mainly known for stabbings. I want to note how rarely stabbings occur here. Except at that club. It was named Woody's, and it was also cited several times for serving minors. So.... it's closed now. Still vacant. Probably haunted.

LOL yes, not the best show to binge, unless you thought were just feeling too happy that week.

The Ghost Adventures crew would be delighted to visit. :D

Yeah I've always advised people into skipping the first episode and continue from there. Also season 2 is depressing as sh**.

Is it depressing because of cruel crime or depressing because characters you grow to love got murdered?
Black Mirror? It's a Twilight Zone-esque anthology show, focusing primarily on mankind's relationship with technology. They're all pretty much cautionary tales. So a lot of the episodes feature dystopian futures that feel a little to real and hit very close to home sometimes.

Sounds odd. I might add it to my Netflix list. It's already pretty long....
