My current feelings on JL, getting ready to see it at 11am EST... And everyone knows how I've been since 2013... So just dipping into the JL threads, and reading the Wall Street Journal Review, the only legit review I've read so far (and it's the freaking WSJ, so it's not a trusted critic by any means... Still...) I have to say...

Regardless of how the film turned out, we should all remember that the sun will rise tomorrow. Maybe. Unless they block it out with nanites like they did in the Matrix. Just keep an eye on it.

Is that what happened? I mean, Ed was going on about Ray Dawn Chong being in one of the Matrix sequels two days ago, and I was like, maybe it was actually Lisa Bonet. Turns out neither of us was right. So I think you could ******** me with whatever about those films and I would say, "Yeah, sure, that sounds plausibly what the directors would come up with."

Ray Dawn Chong was with Matrix in COMMANDO though.

It's all a tapestry.

It was in the Animatrix, I think? Humans developed AI, AI became sentient, humans were like "woah, **** these guys", started a war, lost the war, and then blocked out the sun as a way to deprive the robots of their energy source. So the robots used the humans as an energy source, built the Matrix to keep them placated, and then they all lived happily ever after.

I am still confused by how the colonel got involved with the Machines.

They ransomed the 11 herbs and spices recipe.

Actually I just read an article a few days ago that had in it the revelation that Col. Sanders financially supported the Wallace run for the George Wallace run for president, so... **** him.

I have to do the math if that translates over to all the Sanders impersonators in the commercials. Of the lot, only Rob Riggle gets a pass. Why?

Because he's Rob Mutha****ing Riggle. Next question!

Getting in line for the first showing of JL. If you like praying, pray for me.

Folks we're doomed.

We are 4 steps closer to the inevitable robot apocalypse.

You've earned whatever fate is in store for you. Is that a compliment? An insult? I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

Updated Adobe Acrobat.

But for real... This is how you end up with nanites clouding the atmosphere or some such.

Did I mention Ray Dawn Chong was in COMMANDO? :sly:

Oh yeah, it can do flips and ****, but how are his robot kneecaps going to handle the stress when I take them out with a tire iron? No Robo-Olympic golds for you, jerk.

First they backflip our hearts... then our spines.

We should strike while the irons hot.

The only intense feelings I had about JL were in regards to Steppenwolf.

But will openly say that it's not as great as THE CROW.

When all is said and done few if any comic book movies reach the heights of THE CROW by Proyas.

That man has to have one last great film in him. That's all I'm asking. Something to put alongside CROW and DARK CITY.

Maybe Paradise Lost, if he can get the funding together. I noticed recently on revisit that some of the deranged criminals in the CROW quote that a bit.

i told the sun to take a break today... hopefully that means "it" will go outside so my sniper can take care of ... it.

What did i say about killing, Reek?

^^ lol what did i say, robots are already taking over!

Shoo! Shoo! Mr. Bot.

EDIT: Nvm, Bots been dealt with.

Not sure when I'll get to see JL (waiting on my MoviePass to come in the mail), but I'm on episode 5 of The Punisher and am thoroughly engrossed. Critics were saying it starts off slow, but to me it's not nearly as slow a starter as Luke Cage or IF.
