Today marks the 13th anniversary of one of the greatest games ever made

Hee hee. I'd do better streaming the football and basketball games. There's a lot of sports fans here. :p

You can be Master of Ceremonies and Director of Entertainment at your place. I'll write you a letter of reference certifying your abilities in this arena. You should then be able to ask for a significant raise.

Just finished the Punisher. Lagged in the middle but I was really into it for the most part...until the very end. That ending was just...wrong. Still one of their better shows, though.

Oh damn, shame it ended badly. Where do you rank it against the other Marvel Netflix shows?

1.) DD S2/JJ
2.) DD S1
3.) The Punisher

4.) Defenders

5.) Luke Cage

6.) Iron Fist

Oh right, not bad then by any means.

Oh and my order before finishing Punisher would be nearly the same except I marked JJ down to below DD S1 for that super-annoying woman who lived in the same block. I really hope she's out for season 2.

Dang... I hope I feel different. But I thought the seeds for a swerve were planted in the first two episodes. I gotta get to episode three as soon as I get home.

you hope you feel different? Other than Jessica Jones, thats a solid top 3 list. lol standards.

The movie or the whiz j3 takes at the end of it?

The leak j3 takes during the crucial moment of the film. He did it with Darth Vader's line too and only found out online decades later.

I meant in general what flick said, about it lagging and not liking the ending. The first two I've seen were solid set up episodes that really got the character.

It only lags in the middle the way I felt DD S1 (especially) did. It definitely picks back up in the last few eps, imo. It's just the actual ending - as in the last 5 minutes - I hated.

Digging the Punisher so far. Only on the second episode but I like what they're setting up.

The one that convinced Kilgrave victims it's Jessica's fault? Robyn, Robin, whatever.

I think that was her name yeah. And anyone who's seen it will know exactly who I'm talking about, there's no mistaking her!

If you are an American citizen and enjoy an open/free internet then please take 6 minutes out of your day to text 504-09 the word "resist" then follow the prompts send your elected officials your voice on Net Neutrality. December they will be voting to overturn Net Neutrality which will destroy the internet as we know it. Tell all of your friends and family to do the same.

No, last time people spoke out and stopped SOPA. Trump put a telecom corporate lobbyist in charge of the FCC and they are bringing a vote to dismantle net neutrality in December. It's a pretty big damn deal regardless of what party you affiliate yourself with as this wil give control of the internet to the telecom companies. If enough people use this tool to voice their disapproval of dismantling it then elected officials should hopefully vote against it since they may fear being voted out in the next election.

No, I'm referring to something much much more recent, think it was either within this year or the last. People even counted it down til' it was finally official. Just trying to remember what it was.

There were 3 different times they have tried to stop net neutrality. All of which we're stopped by citizens voicing their disapproval. The last think that happened was the FCC hearing opinions on putting it up to a vote. 99% of Americans were against it yet they still said that they are moving forward with the vote which is going to happen right after Thanksgiving. Only chance we have is everyone reaching out and saying we do not want this. All it takes is them wining one time and we are f***ed.

Found it.
The contract regarding the IANA stewardship functions between ICANN and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the United States Department of Commerce ended on October 1, 2016, formally transitioning the functions to the global multistakeholder community
Pretty sure that's the one.

I saw Justice League. I enjoyed it. Even with that damn [blackout]moustache removal[/blackout]. Good God that was bad. It jumped around a lot, and was definitely kitbashed together. It didn't flow great. Still, I'm into the Aquaman movie and the hypothetical Flash(point) one.

You can see there's a deeper film there with even more character stuff that was cut out. And the character stuff both with what was there from Snyder and what Joss added was the film's big strength. But they edited it way too much. I am honestly surprised in putting it together that Whedon didn't fight more to keep in more material. I had a good time, there are some parts that are amazing but the suits seemed so gunshy from the rending of clothes and gnashing of teeth from the online world that it was paired down to a minimum. And I still feel that Whedon changed the aspect ratio for some reason and it effects the feeling of scope for too many scenes. C'est la vie.
