My Wookie is a bit rusty, but here goes my poem of lamentation

AAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH, ARRRRGHGGH, AARRGH AARRGH
AAARRRRRGGHH, AARRRRRRGGGHHH, RRRRRRGGGGHHH, RRRRRRRR
...
.

Can't go further, I'm crying.

Touching Aziz. Tugging right at the old heartstrings.

Speaking of deaths, I'd better check out right now. One of my buddies lost his dad, I'm heading for his funeral.

Condolences. My friend Ed lost a friend last week. A guy he knew from college. Liver failure due to Hep. Early 40's.

So much sadness. Condolences. :(

I love having my car but I did not miss having f***ing car trouble. Just wasted 2 hours of my life (literally) for nothing. :argh:

I been reading a lot of Judge Dredd over the past few days and it's a really good series. For something spanning decades the world building is fantastic, the characters are usually interesting and how the reference earlier events to involve current works is well done.

I half expected the entire thing to be 10% good and 90% Nineties 'grimdark' material.

Movie I'm watching tonight.

Sounds like an improvement

Not particularly, if I could get the car down to the shop while it won't start they could see what the problem is. But it always ends up starting before the tow truck gets there so I end up wasting my damn time. Only does it every now and then, really f***ing annoying.

Is that the prequel to the Lea Seydoux remake?

This movie was released in 1946. The plot of the 2014 film and this are similar though. Belle asks her father to bring her home a rose and he takes a rose from Beast's garden. The Beast catches him and tells him that he will kill him for what he did. Beast let's him go home to his family before he kills him and because Belle feels responsible for what happened, she decides to take her father's place. Beast does have a feline look in both movies and Belle is a blonde in both adaptations.

There's the Stallone one and the newer one with Karl Urban. The first was crap and the second was really awesome.

I forgot about the new one. I never bothered to see it because the first one was so bad. :( I do like Karl Urban, though.

It's really good. It's less about Dredd himself and more about a day in the life of a Judge. The entire movie takes place in one building over a few hours.

Lena Headey plays the big bad of the movie and she's a bad a ***** as she is in GoT.

Lol, I wasn't expecting a serious response the way i phrased my question.
I've been meaning to check out the 2014 one.
How good was the one you watched and I guess what stood out to you seeing this relative to others?

Dredd was the superhero equvilant of the Raid. It was great.

There are no talking clocks, candlesticks, teapots, or toilets in this movie. Instead the castle is also enchanted. The statues and candelabras can move on their and the doors automatically open.

The cinematography for Beast's castle is very ethereal and it's very amazing how a black and white movie from the 1940's can be fantastical.

reminds me of stage plays which makes sense at the time, only big diff would be the lighting and camerawork

Don't worry, Lounge.... I'll save you.

The newer one is decent.

I'm watching Prometheus on TV. Idris Elba did two films in a row where he cancelled the apocalypse by blowing himself up.

Fine gentleman. I hope he's always around to do that in testing times.
