Batman Begins Love Batman Begins, but logic problems at end

Even if there are minor problems with it, it was still more plausible than the third act of Batman, where the city allows the terrorist crime lord who just tried to poison the entire city to stroll down the street with a float and balloons.

I dunno about that. The lack of police presence is always something to laugh at when you talk about any Gotham City.

I still have clue if it was stupid luck or some kind of supernatural force that saved Joker from a barrage of bulets and rockets from a supposedly high tech (for the 80's atleast) million dollar fighter jet. All to be brought down by the longest gun in film history. That scene is a wtf moment for me.

The rest is plausible, I thought.....that is, I NEVER found myself saying "man, what bull****"!!

In the scene with Major Borg talking by Tv and the Joker hacking it, they explicitly said that Gotham Police wasn't able to provide security for the 200th Anniversary. Call it far fetched but it didn't fail to the very movie's coherence.

There are plenty of Logic problems in Begins, like the fact Bruce is speaking Korean (or whatever that language is) and the Police Officer is speaking English. Also Bruce doesn't kill the man when he destroys the League of Shadows, but blows the place up killing everyone including that guy.

Good movie though, so I overlook the flaws :P.

Right. It's actually explained in the script. The police weren't able to provide security because most of them were killed. Borg says, "A toxin has been found in the coffee at the Police Station, and with two-thirds of our Police Force hospitalized, we simply cannot garantee public safety."

Don't get me wrong, I love the movie. I just like to bring it up whenever people nitpick about the technicalities of Begins' climax. We're talking a series that had the following climaxes -

- A mass murderer taking over a parade with no resistance from cops (who did show up in time for the cathedral fight!)

- An army of penguins roaming seemingly completely empty streets (because apparently literally all of Gotham was invited to the Schrek's ball)

- A showdown at a monstrous factory/laboratory/corporate headquarters/giant blender in the middle of the bay (I'm assuming the green brain-drain effects were purely to visualize what Nygma was doing, and weren't actually visible to the human eye?)

..Let's not continue.

But yeah, I'm not really criticizing them, as they're all fun and exciting in their own right. It just gets my goat when people attack Begins for being illogical.

Well, I agree. As I said I just wanted to be able to see the fights and I'd be in peace with the final.

Well the whole idea of forcing the train to make it to the station really doesn't go well with the plan a and plan b scenario since if gordon failed, batman's plan to force the train to get to its destination would have caused the main to blow sky high.

I maintain that tossing a bat grenade at the microwave thing would have been the best plan
Well, if Gordon failed/was about to fail, Batman could have gone with your grenade solution (assuming he had any left). But, seeing how the ME blew up after the train crash, I'm thinking a grenade would've been a dumb idea.
