guess your not excited for Hancock
Well it'll take a hell of a crew to make that guy look like he's been through some ****. Like the Chiwetel (SP? I'm not even going to try to spell his last name right now) in Four Brothers example. The guy just felt out of place.
It's from I, Robot.Holy ****, Smith is huge (or he could just have a really big chest). What movie is that? I can totally swing those choices.![]()
Cage doesn't have to be a real thugged out guy though. He's a fantastical character, not a real one, therefore he ought to be very idealized like a Will Smith type. Will Smith is tough onscreen, regardless of whether or not he comes off as street.I'm not saying either of those so called pretty boys suggested should play Cage. I'm just saying it's kinda silly to think a guy isn't tough or from the streets unless he's ugly.

Sorry, that movie would rock and you know it. Power Man and Iron Fist would be so awesome if it was done like Bad Boys or Transformers....

Sorry, that movie would rock and you know it. Power Man and Iron Fist would be so awesome if it was done like Bad Boys or Transformers...like an action-with-comedic-moments. That movie would rock so hard. It's the only time I could see myself wanting a comic movie that mindless.
Transformers was pure awesomeness. I've never actually sat through all of Bad Boys, but that's the level that movie should operate on. It should be fast, funny and mindless. I realize most people take their pet characters very seriously, but you simply can't sell those characters that way.And comparing it to Bad Boys or Transformers is not a good thing. Those movies sucked.
They can always use it as a spinoff. That way we'd still get Luke Cage and Misty Knight's involvement. No he doesnt have to be thugged out, but there should be an edgy feel to him.
I also dont know about Iron Fist being with Luke Cage, I just think Iron Fist has more potential on its own as a solo movie based on the tournie arc(even though that probably wont happen)
Yeah, well I heard he made Hancock because he didn't really think any of the "real" superheroes suited him. But damn, I'd say really Cage is his thing completely, especially after playing guys like Robert Neville and I, Robot. My only problem is everything that would come with casting Smith. He's already playing a superhero with these powers and then some so it's nothing that new or impressive and it'd just be Will Smith in another "buddy-cop" movie except it's a superhero flick this time...Otherwise, damn, I'd be ecstatic over Will Smith as Luke Cage.
He'd need to work on his lats though to get a wider look. He's always maintained this slim look. Could just be his body type though.
