Macy Says Lohan Needs Her A$$ Kicked

Ah well, the point is that these spoiled rich b*tch types need a big dose of reality. The movie execs make TONS more money than they do and they ultimately decide who will be famous and when.

I get more and more pissed off any time I hear crap like this. The whole Hollywood phenomenon should be destroyed and rebuilt into a NON-ELITIST organization built to encompass the creative talents of EVERYONE - not just a few lucky *ssholes.

no this is the second time shes been lateto work on two different times.

It's not just a matter of lateness, but her penchant for partying probably leaves her ability to perform compromised, even when she's on time or early.

Did you need some shoulder launch missiles for your quest?

Seriously, someone should start a movement to replace the current form of movie entertainment with one that isn't so elitist. While it's great that people can make good money on a movie, the same people shouldn't be making huge, impossible sums of money over and over again. How many Tom Cruises are there out there who will never get a chance because of the one who has a bank about with like, what, 300 million in it, at least? How much fame and fortune does ONE person need anyway?

I agree with you somewhat. Same goes for the sports industry, players and owners alike. The entertainment industry as a whole has pretty much gotten completely out of hand with the amount of money they generate and "earn".

Nope.

For some reason, when I log in under my AOL browser, it won't let me log out of this username.

When I use IE, Firefox, or NS, I'll probably change back. Getting rid of the old one means too many lost pms/the inconvenience of notification/this minute avvy, so A & O for good . . . I guess.

I asked a mod to ban this name originally, but they wouldn't do it because that kind of thing makes the servers go slower. . . or so they claimed, so its just dormant a lot.

but you have a PM waiting at your other sn:csad:

I think it's a short-lived phenomenon. If you think about it, the Hollywood "lifestyle" has only been around for about 100 years. At some point in the NEAR future, computer graphics will become so advanced that you will no longer need live actors to make a movie. At that point, the only "real" people you'll see are all of the people in these silly but very addictive reality TV shows. Which is fine by me, because those are REAL people. I love Dog the Bounty Hunter. The man works his *ss off and makes decent change while he's at it. Someone like Tom Cruise does not "earn" his money. No one should be able to make 20 million in a span of three months just for an end result of two hours of time. That's just disgusting.

Meanwhile, there are people, hard working people, more hard working than Tom Cruise, and educated people, more educated than Tom Cruise, who quit high school, suffering from Katrina who are STARVING to death, or who no longer have a house. There should be a law that requires these elitists to donate 50% of their pay to help the needy.

Gah, maybe I'm becoming more liberal with age.

The end result may be just over 2 hours, but there is lot more than that. You're kinda short changing actors saying that. If everyone was able to what they do, then it wouldn't be those astronomical payrolls.

It'y understanding that it's about three month period to do the main shooting with 12 to 16 hours/day during that period of time.

Lazur if you worked everyday 16 hours for three months straight would you want some jackass telling you that all of a sudden you have to give up half your pay to people who quit high school? Or that they HAVE to donate it to charity? As Tom Berringer said in Platoon "Oh bull**** Lerner!"

I bet the paparazzi would pay someone to do that just so they could make a fortune on the pictures.

If I was a woman, I'd consider it for a six-figure pay-day.:o

ok lindsay lohan was on top of the world in 2004....then ofcourse like most celebs she ****s it up.

geez why do celebs do this? they are at the top of their careers and then they find the stupidest way to mess it up it's like they are doing this on purpose.

Agreed. Being born beautiful hardly qualifies as a 'talent'. Lucky? Yes. Talented. HELL no.

Silly Lazur...Lohan isn't beautiful. ;)

If I worked 16 hour days for three months, I wouldn't be making 20 million. But if I did make 20 million for that SMALL amount of work, you bet your a** I'd donate half of it to help others. I think the measly sum of 10 mill would do me just fine .

Yeah, well not everyone can be a doctor or a school teacher either. Yet they don't make NEARLY in an entire LIFETIME what an "A list actor" makes for a single freaking movie that took three months of their time to shoot. That's just SICK!

Shortchanging actors? Puuuulease. A doctor will do more good in a day than one single actor does in his entire effing life. I'm sorry, but "acting" in front of a camera for millions of dollars does not require talent. It requires the attitude that you will do ANYTHING for that money, even "act" like someone you're not.
