i agree, this game and the conduit look amazing. im glad to see some M rated comming to nintendo besides resident evil... no more heroes is awesome if you havent tried it yet.
i got to see a demo of this game two weeks ago, and its the real deal. it has a touch of no more heros but brutally graphic deaths. its alot like the movie running man with arnold. your basically in a giant warehouse, and you go around killing people, while a "sports announcer" talks about all your moves. it will be a huge game for the wii.
A guy at work told me about this and I checked out some video on it. Definitely looks like an original game with some awesome game play. I'll be picking this one up for sure when it comes out. Is it still coming out in Feb?
No one talking about this, huh? Well, that's not a good sign at all.
Well, beat the game yesterday and I have to say that was a very short ride. Beat in 3 hours and 15 minutes exactly, and I wasn't running through or anything, I actually thought I was taking it a little on the slow side. I guess I could see the point people are making about it getting old if the game were long, but it still feels so short.
Enjoyed the game itself, excellent use of the comic book styling. The violence was pretty gory and fairly graphic at times, but as I remember a previewer saying about the game is that it felt a little too Tom & Jerry to take seriously. Even though I would put this closer to Itchy & Scratchy, it is hard to take it serious
The story was good, pretty good actually. I think it and the characters could have been flushed out a little more. Overall, though, I was very pleasantly surprised how well that aspect turned out.
I will say, I was somewhat let down by the last boss:
I wasn't really surprised by it being The Black Baron, since the 'mystery' picture in the final area looks just like his. I was actually expecting his 'ho to be the last boss. I thought that was what her killing him every Bloodbath Challenge was hinting at. I kept expecting her to rip his heart out or something right before the fight actually began, I thought it would've been a funny little twist. That and the fact that it felt way too easy for a final boss fight
When you start you only have one option, right? I haven't started on Hard, yet, I've heard that it helps extend the game, but still 3 hrs feel very short even for a first playthrough
