Magneto hones his powers by hunting down and killing Nazi war criminals that tortured him, and his lust for vengeance turns Xavier and Magneto into enemies. Both characters will be played by actors in their 20s.

Well that's the first thing I see wrong with that storyline because according to X3's flashback of them meeting young Jean, the men were still friends well into their 40s.

Well his lust for vengenace could progress after their 40s. It would start during WW2 but progress over time for decades?

We don't know,maybe Xavier finds out about Magneto's killings when they are in their forties.
