Yep Haniel, that´s it.

When I created my MSN account it was not neccessary to have an account at Hotmail. That was some time ago, now everything has changed (I guess....)

But let us now change the topic, the important thing is the making of the Perfect Spidey Suit :-)

Could someone post a pic of spider-ham's alex ross spider-man costume?

Hey Ben Just wondering what glue you use to apply the webs to the costume? Oh and what type of paint is it that is used to paint the webs (colors)?

Thanks

at the moment haniel i dont have any messengers to use for chat.
anyone is more than welcome to remember my email though since i will get around to downloading one sometime.

hey guys

i just did a colour test (silk screen) it's starting to look good. i bought some normal whit lycra and then realised that i needed shiny so i went back and had to buy some more. the colour came out **** on the normal lycra. it looked dull. like when you use tye dye on t shirts. i did it on the shiny lycra they and looks great. the colour was hard to match aswell. the red on the lcyra was actually like a brown colour. i screened it 3 times, when it comes around to the atcuall costume i'll probably using 10 different colours and screening it about 4 times for each pattern. if someone host pics please. i also have the artwork for the muscle defintion also.

Do you think it would even be possible to Airbrush Muscle Definition onto the Black Symboite Outfit?

Was just curious

hiya all,

was wondering if i could get your all opinion on some thing. as most of you know, i am in the process of making a relicated spiderman suit. what i can't decide on is the type of colour i should be using for the suit.

basicly i have to opition to choose from, spiderman 1 and 2.
i like the colour of the first spiderman movie as it is darker and contrass is better. on the other hand, the second suit look more brighter. what i like about the second suit is the colour tend to be much more lighter thus muscle shading tend to be more noticable.

all opinion are welcome.

thank you and peace be with you all my friends.

haniel roswell

PS : Ham, how did you do the raised back spider design for your Alex Ross version ? Thanks.

Hi Haniel,

I prefer the colors of the second suit. My problem is to match the correct color because on photos they vary through lighting. I have pics where the red is bright and others where it has a dark violet touch. I think it´s somewhere in the middle.

Oh, I´m a Newbie but if you like you can add me to your MSN:

[email protected]

Purp, I can host your pictures!

Haniel, since you are replicating the movie 2 suit, you'd better stick with the Movie 2 colors.

Ok Xeno, I´ll add and authorize you as soon as I get home.
I talked to Haniel yesterday, very nice guy.

By the way: Haniel, I´d choose the 2nd movie suit color scheme.

hiya all,

i was chatting with new member OVDH and apparently he too had purchase the black and white version of the pattern offer by TKcomic. here is the priginal transcript of the chat we had today:
.........................................................................................................
EL_LOBO says:

so you making your own spiderman costume?

[email protected] (E-mail Address Not Verified) says:

Yup, I bought that black/white pattern from TKcomics as well but it has printing lines all over it. Ive also asked him for scans but he didn´t reply yet. I´m currently doing some tries with polyurethane like Bob. Will post pics on the board the next days
.........................................................................................................

as you can see from the conversation io had with him, he was given a poor quality pattern and not in the thermal type paper spider jack mention. it is just a plain black and white photocopy which would cost no more then USD$10.00 to print.
so i'm glad that i didn't pay him the said price for the pattern. hell if you were offering the black and white version pattern for 10 buck, i might still have to reconsider.

peace be with you all my friend.

yeah, i think the second one would be the most logical choice. since i am making the seocnd movie suit replica. thank for the opinion my friend

peace my friend.

if your making your costume out of fabric you won't be able to match it. i've searched for two years of fabrics that are just like them. speaking of the first suit i came close to a red but not a blue. and it's now after 2yrs(actually a couple of months ago) that i realised that they made their own colour. the first suit was just like a standard red and the new suit is close between a red and dark red. their are certain pictures that i know are the exact colour of the costume as i've analysed from photos. ryan batchellers photos are exact of what the colour should be. the blue is a navy. also becuase the suit has the muscle shading on it that defuses the colour a little. it shows up royal becuase of the angle of light, not the lighting... it's the angle. i know that the navy i have produced and used on previous costume shines royal when the sun hits it but move a couple of feet from where i was last standing and its back to navy.
