Man vs. Wild

Bear really went to extremes in the first part of the Sahara episode, so I really look forward to part two next week. After all that was said last season, I still find Bear on top of his game. And like "X-Ray" mentioned, it's find with me that he acknowledges the crew.

The Everest special was great. Seeing Bear cry like that and how much emotion he felt was nice. But I agree, flying over it was just badass, I swear i'm going to do that later in life. :o

I really loved Friday's episode. Seeing him ingest bug after bug after bug was awesomely gross - not to mention the sand lizard! Great start to the new season...

Yeah, Bear took it to extremes once more.

Looking forward to tomorrow's episode for sure. Was just checking the site to see if there was any info and they've got some cool inside info about the show in general - how Bear prepares for it, etc. Worth checking it out...
Man vs. Wild

I enjoyed last nights ep, moreso than part two. Grylls acknowledging the crew every now and then, especially during the climb, was cool but it made no difference to me whether he did or not. It's just to appease all the whiners and Bear haters out there. It's kinda common sense that the crew is there, but whatever....**** then haters.

Bear's still the man.

Bear is the craziest guy, but man i love him and last nights show was amazing. He makes Jigsaw look like a *****, lol

Agreed. I don't care if he acknowledges the crew either- it definitely doesn't take away from the action. It's actually kinda fun picturing the camera man freaking out when Bear's telling him to get a tighter shot on the cobra or when he's shoving poisonous insects in his mouth....

Digging out the camel corpse was sick. Also felt bad for the goat as it gave one last cry before Bear slit it's throat.:csad: Good episode.

The goat's scream was just eerie.

This season has been intense so far. I love it.

I missed Friday's episode, i'll have to look out for a repeat airing.

Looks like we got ourselves a little Bear marathon this morning. Some of the time blocks have a TBA description later on today, but I don't see anything but Man vs. Wild all day. The Everest special is even re-airing at 11.

today's episode i believe takes place on Panama

Can't wait for tonight's episode. And yes, i've been watching the marathon, watching last week's episode right now.

Not to worry- just keep checking in- I feel like it's on more times than it's not. I'm not complaining...

Anyone catch the Panama epi?

I love how every time Bear eats something gross, he says it taste like old cheese that's been sitting in the sun for weeks, or whatnot. LOL!

I like the show but I would rather die then drink my own urine. Or saturate my underwear with piss and wear it on my head... unless i've been drinking. Then I would probably do that for fun.

thats not that bad, would you rather eat a raw goats testicle?

What does everyone think of this guy when compared to Survivorman's Les Stroud?
i like Les, but he can't do most of the stuff Bear can, and plus Bear is much younger, athletic and was a ex marine

I don't know. I think the Man vs. Wild guy is just too show offy. I mean, I've seen the dude jump off his plane, claim starvation and start biting into beetles. It's like half the stuff he does, he does just to show off as opposed to doing it out of necessity.
