Man vs. Wild

I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out. I heard this season will be in Patagonia, Panama and the Sahara- can't wait. I've missed Bear!

Yeah, I look forward to the new season.

The old episodes that they show in the 'new' format aren't much different. The voiceovers just point out actions of the crew or the advice of local expert. Same good TV. Can't wait for the new locations.

I noticed that too. But I also notice an edit in the episode where Bear tries to chase that animal with the bow and arrow. That scene was cut out.

Yeah, I look forward to the new season.

Same here. Also, make sure to check the Everest Mission which is a separate series from MvW.

I'm also digging the promos for the new season. The old family film may be fake. But I like the overall feel for it.

They've been showing repeats of past eps as of late with added commentary after the scandal. In the Iceland ep, Bear says in a voice over that the sheep he found frozen was left for him by a farmer so he could show us how to eat/cook it, whereas before it made it look like he found it.

Also there is a Safety disclaimer at the beginning of the show now.

Can't wait for the new season.

There's a new show Friday, IIRC.

Les is OK, but he's not as personable or entertaining as Bear is to me.

Yes there is.

 Are you serious? I like both, but Les is just as entertaining as Bear imo.
i watched survivorman before man vs wild and liked les's show, but Bear does crazier **** imo that makes his show really amaizing

Yeah- the premiere is at 9PM ET followed by the Everest special at 10. Two whole hours- I'm pretty psyched...
wow is this the first time they had a 2 hour episode?

Well, it's not so much a two hour episode, but kind of a two hour block. The first hour (9PM) is the first episode of season 2 where Bear will be in the Sahara. The second hour (10PM) will be a special called "Bear's Mission to Everest" so they're 2 totally different programs.

The Sahara ep was awesome. Grylls is definately still in top form.

Yes, he is. Loved the new episode. Anyone watching the Everest special?

I like the little things that they've done. Bear now acknowledges the camera crew that follows him. So that should please the critics. Speaking of which, two of them were evacuated due to heat stroke. The 2nd part of it looks sick. Especially that scene where he's cutting up the camel & digging through it's insides. Eeewwwwwww .......

Yah I saw it. Not bad. I thought he was climbing it though. Flying over it is just crazy ****. :wow:
