March 2010 Solicitations

5 issues of Amazing Spider-Man in March! + other Spidey books

yeah that is kinda overdueing it alittle bit. Damn Marvel is gonna make my wallet cry in March.

Don't read Spider-Man or Ultimates, looks like the only Seige title I may pick up is Thor (might drop it for however many tie-ins, though). So, yep, nothing here for me right now.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that the new hero in Ultimate Spiderman is Scarlet Spider. Who else would make people "burst out in applause"?

I love that cover of Cap leading the Asgardians. The only man who's ever earned total respect and equality among an entire race of warrior gods. :hehe:

Mighty Avengers + Ultron = awesome.

Really looking forward to Avengers: The Initiative. Cap vs. Taskmaster is always fun to see, plus I'm very curious about what the hell is gonna happen with the Initiative when all's said and done.

Crap, New Mutants' tie-in is actually looking kind of interesting.

Thats weird that New Mutants even has a tie in. aka it's not doing well:( I was enjoying it.

X-Men are up at CBR

Well it seems to be that time of the year and they are carting out [BLACKOUT]Jean Grey[/BLACKOUT]. Come on Fraction you're better than this. Stop writing mutant books and write something on the levels of Casanova and Iron Fist again.

X-Men solicits.

And bryanss, I think it's still doing well, just trying to capitalize as much as they can, and since Dani whooping on Ares was one of the most talked about parts of Utopia, I'm not surprised they're bringing it up again already.

x-men solicits = tooooooo much deadpool

Holy hell on a bicycle, Sif got a comic? And Beta Ray Bill is in it too? F***in' yeah! :awesome:

x-men solicits = tooooooo much deadpool

Agreed. Far too much.

The missing name in the Uncannysolicit is definitely
Hope, whether she's Jean or not.
If she is, I wish they'd get all of this out of the way and get on with the interesting storylines. Second Coming looks good, but the likelihood that it's a "return of Jean" story has put the dampeners on for me. It seems pretty stupid that they've revealed
Bishop's death
through solicits, too.

But of course S.W.O.R.D. continues to look great.

On the non-X side of things, Siege looks to be shaping up well. I don't plan to change the titles I'm buying to grab new tie-ins, but I might make an exception for New Mutants because I loved the Dani/Hela stuff in Utopia. I can't wait to see Hank take on Ultron in Mighty Avengers, I've been enjoying him a lot since Slott started pushing him to the forefront.

I'm not entirely sure about the Two Americas storyline that's coming up in Captain America, but I'm still looking forward to it. And Iron Man, of course, looks fantastic - Fraction's run has been excellent so far and I know the conclusion will be just as good! :woot:

It’s the Sorcerer Supreme versus the magical might of the political terrorist known as the Doktor! Stephen Strange struggles with a decision to help a man crippled by his worst memories! And the Master of the Mystic Arts battles a demon in the streets of New York! All this and more in this all-new, all-action, all-black-and-white one-shot in the spirit of the Mighty Marvel Magazines of yore, but ALL-NOW in style! The magical mayhem never lets up for a moment over these four stories by some of Marvel’s hottest creators!

:applaud

Frazier Irving on a Dr. Strange book makes me very happy.

Sif actually getting some page-time to deal with how she feels about recent events in her life is something you'd expect to see in Thor.

JMS disagrees and Gillen's basically just tying up JMS' loose threads for half his run and tying into Siege for the other half. Maybe we'll see some more in Fraction's run. He seems to be good with supporting casts. In the meantime, a Sif one-shot makes me giddy. Balder and the Warriors Three have gotten their own comics (more or less--it was a couple arcs in Marvel Fanfare in the Warriors Three's case), so it's about time Thor's other primary supporter does.

Jean Grey is back, i didnt think the x-franchise could sink any lower and then boom there they go with this bull crap. What is so wrong with her being dead?? And why is marvel pushing out X titles like its the 90's again?

I kind of like the idea of Jean coming back. Maybe someday we can get an original 5 reunion series again.

Given the current state of the mutant race, makes sense they'd need somebody on her power-level to sort things out (also, the whole "save/destroy" thing is right up Phoenix's alley).

Yeah but is anybody really looking forward to the inevitable Scott/Jean/Emma love triangle that you just know they're going to do? One of the benefits of having Jean dead is it finally allows scott to move on to bigger and better things. I feel like Jean's return is going to bring things back to the Grant Morrison era.
